The problem with this test isn't about the pianos, it's the acoustics of the room and also the basic limitation of a microphone that can't capture the full range of the sound they make. A large concert piano like the D is meant to throw lots of sound in a large space. It's not going to sound hugely different in a small room, but you put the smaller pianos up against it in a real concert hall and listen to them from far away, especially with an orchestra playing, and you'll notice a huge difference, because you would not hear a smaller piano very well over the other instruments in a concert hall.

And not to mention the speaker that you play it back on. If you're using a good quality earbuds versus just your phones speaker. But there's no way to know how they tuned the original recording, mic placement, location of the pians, it's a very poor example of what was heard.

The opening of the Grieg Concerto uses all registers, including all the way down to the lowest A. Campanella does tell you about action, however. Pianos sound more similar in the highest registers and the most different in the lowest. Just saying.
I closed my eyes and listened with Bose noise cancelling head phones and they all sound the same.
Beyond how they sound over the internet is how they FEEL to the player. Actions vary.
I like the 2nd one
Просто МАЕСТРО.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I like the tone of the first one though
I'm a drummer but I just started playing piano and I couldn't tell the difference between any of them
His brothers are really talented lotta years on the piano
I hear a $150,000 sound difference
D sound great
Música clássica e erudita são uma beleza
Your playing makes the cheapest one like on the level of the expensives. 😊😍
Bravo Andy bravo
Didn’t realize the model d has gone up in value so much … almost double 🎉🎉
$24k - $200k piano comparison using a $15 mic. Lol
mans is so handsome
These are more than cars !!¡
B for Bad? Sounded shrieky, yet muted. The 200k was amazing
it takes a year to build and completone of them❤❤❤❤
How many elephants did they kill for the last one?
The model B sound the best for the money imho.
This looks like Meridian Music. Am I correct? Fun video.
I prefer the Model B. I spent 4 years at university practicing on one for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
I liked the sound of 1 or 3 best.
Differences seem subtle to me - must be due to Steinway quality.
I can’t tell the difference, all the sound came from my phone speaker.
model o is pretty nice ;D
What is your opinion on best to play on?
I think my Band room has the first Piano. I play it ajd I think it's a little too harsh depending on the song. I definitely prefer the black color schemes though
🤩
I'd bet if you took all of them to a stage at a huge venue they would all be listened to through a sound system comprised for many microphones, sound processors, amplifiers and various speaker systems. Add to that the room presence and other ambient noise, sit in the back row and then try to tell the difference blindfolded.
They all sound the same thru my crappy phone speaker
Yeah... I think it's not a very goog idea to listen this on a 200€ smartphone...
Of course is the D-174😎
❤
How long did it take to practice and learn that?
The difference is the price.
Which gallery was this?
Maybe it's just me because they all sound the same. Perhaps, it's really not about the model or the price; it's about the one who plays. You go, Andy.
A gaming mouse company got the model names from pianos lmao
Model B was the most resounding to me.
I'm definitely ready for the $189k model. Please send contact info for shipping logistics
