50cc Petrol mountain bike vs electric MTB - Which bike will win? We push these bikes to the limits with head to head challenges to see which bike is faster and better, on MTB trails and urban freeride zones! But which bike will win?
Me and Lewi Pilgrim go head to head to see which of these two bikes is faster by setting different challenges around my hometown of Colchester. I am riding the crazy 50cc petrol powered bike which cost £150 and Lewi is on the £3500 Haibike ALLMTB 2.0 electric mountain bike. We start things off with a head to head race to see who will cross the line fastest and surely petrol power will win!? We then head into the woods for a simple hill climb challenge, but does the petrol bike have enough torque? From here we switch locations to some local MTB trails that wind through the woods with a timed event. The next challenge is very unfair as I set a long distance wheelie that is almost certainly unbeatable! The fun we had during this filming was awesome so we decided to go to a classic filming spot in town which was the Stair set of doom!!! This is the 3 level stair set leading down into a road but the fun we have on this thing is so much that we couldn't not film it! At the half way point it was looking like the Haibike emtb would take the win but would the mini 50cc motocross bike storm into the lead??

Thats not a bad idea actually. Sam Pilgrim, Blake Samson from GMBN, and Ben Deakin or Danny McCaskill as presenters. With a tech section with Doddy from GMBN. There is loads you could do with a show like that. They could even run comps each week for the best viewer mods, or best viewer bike caves etc. #Netflix, get it done! Obviously it will need sponsorship, but all the top bike brands would flock to a show on Netflix. I would DEFO watch a show like that, not just for the bikes and shit, but also for the craziness and humour. Somethjng that Top Gear sorely lacks since the three amigos left.

There is a bolt on the bottom of the muffler if you take it off and pull the bottom part of the muffler off you have way more power and torque

Bike needs a 72 tooth rear drive sprocket. And a expansion chamber exhaust would help with the torque also.

this video was fun to watch if you change the primary jet in the carburetor it goes a bit faster and the gasket on the intake port doesn't always match the port size and changing the stock spark plug for a good spark plug out of a weed whacker helps it out a bit too and if you feel like going a bit faster again you can port and polish the ports make them a little bit bigger and these bikes are loads of fun and change that exhaust for a real 2 stroke exhaust and you get that lovely 2 stroke ding lol.
