I got to the Lickey Bank 2 and a half hours before the Earl passed because of how popular the Lickey Bank is. When the 5043 came it was absolutely hammering it up the bank and put on a good show even though the class 47 was pushing the Earl from the back of the train due to the high fire Risk.
After the Lickey I had the afternoon off filming and then went to Langley green to film the Castle on the return Journey to Worcester. But sadly the castle coasted through Langley and opened up towards the crossing and the class 47 was pushing again.
I also had a surprise at Langley Green when Class 50s 50049 Defiance and 50007 Hercules heading back to the Severn Valley Railway after hauling a railtour the day before. I’m glad the 50s came by because it would be my last chance to see the 50s in the GB Railfreight Livery before being painted BR Blue.
It was good to see @blackcountrysteamvideos8021, @LiamsLocos, @crunchynutsteamfilms5043 and @Tobys_Trains at Viago.
