We have a 2017 Flex Limited with 3.5 EcoBoost and it can smack it down. Looks like a bigger intercooler is in my future and a tune. I also bypassed the recycling of the blow off pressure

That stock intercooler is the same size as the one that comes on my F-chassis Mini, if that tells you anything. We replace it just to get to 300hp. Also, you weren't supposed to tell anyone about the Aviator. Now I'm never gonna be able to get one lol.

This is awesome. Such a random unexpected vehicle to mod.

Nice job, I added the tune last year, which made a huge difference. Now I need to add the Wipple intercooler. Thanks for the I video. I thought I was the only one modding these. Great mod makes driving it so much more funner.

Just picked up a 23 Explorer ST the other day, cousin to the Aviator. Thing rips and is fun to drive. Hope to get some bolt ons and a tune down the road

The ST is a way better buy. You can push over 500 wheel on those with stock internals I THINK. I may be wrong . There's a guy who has a built one and gaps scats, SS, all sorts of stuff.

Yes the explorer ST looks better and has sportier suspension but it lacks the 10r80 transmission and the interior on the aviator is the better choice imo. The aviator could get tuned the same way an ST could considering the engine is identical

I love my Aviator. It’s my 2nd one but it’s the Grand Touring with almost 600 hp and AWD. It launches hard and my wife gets about 85 mpg going to work and back and over 1000 miles per tank, because of the 23 mile electric range. I’m glad mine is a lease or I’d be doing this also.

i never realized the stock fmic was so small. its like the same as a stock focus st intercooler lmao. that whipple fmic is a massive difference for sure

Im not much of a gear head but ive been a big fan of the aesthetics of the newer lincoln models across the board good to know they got something under the hood to go with it. I also drive a 2000 volvo s70 anything remotely modern feels like a rocket to me

So far it seems like the stock bottom end on the 3.0 can’t handle more than about 750 hp, and the 10r60 in the Explorer ST doesn’t seem to like more than 550 lb ft. They are making better pistons and rods for the 3.0 though, and the Aviator has the 10r80 trans so it should handle some more tq.

Those aviators have the same drivetrain as the explorer ST. They're very nice, but im not a fan of the electric door latches. I feel like they're going to cause lots of electrical issues.

Mighty fine for such a heavy SUV.

Also gotta say that's a dope suv though

K&N claim their air filter will increase a 2019 F150 3.3 v6 290 hp. The 2019 F150 3.5 ecoboost with 375 hp use the same stock air filter as the 3.3. K&N lied about the stock air filter is restricting the 3.3 hp.

You need to do a 1st gen aviator. The original.

In my opinion it’s not really worth it since car is used. It’s not perfect although looks fantastic once nick finished with it. More of a daily driver.
