Figured out why I was missing shifts… When running a competition twin disk… you HAVE to run their throw out bearing… not a OEM ONE 🙄

Your build is bad ass man! Your all motor set up was nice too, for still being stock block it was quick as fuck! I love how the ic-7 display looks with the integrated housing,I also have the same haltech display, I hear they have a lot of cool little features and you can always update them with newer softwares when haltech makes new shit

Haltech also just recently announced that they just made the ic-7 display a stand-alone unit like the fuel tech units. You should make a video with you messing with the ic-7 features and all the displays they come with lol

Working on that currently! I’m thinking it’s my shift selector that’s possibly bent, no matter how hard I tried in a high RPM 2-3.. I’d be locked out..

Just found out I have the wrong throw out bearing in 😅 I have a OEM one & I need to be running Competition Clutch’s throw out bearing with their twin disk 🤦

You have k20/24 I just have k20a2 Did you do the 06 tsx cams or thought about it Also been thinking about putting hole in hood for turbo see if gets better iats in traffic or gains on pull I'm making 550 to 600 depending on temp defiantly feels slow when hot out vs cool mornings

Very cool build, looks like a ton of fun! What trans / clutch setup are you using for ~ 500 whp, very seriously thinking of going the turbo route, currently at ~ 230 whp N/A with my EG k20. Not confident in my clutch / axles / 6 speed surviving

I had a used competition twin that was giving my lockout issues for not releasing 😔 have the same clutch in now & pulls so much better & I can actually grab gears again lol. My axels held up just fine though! Same axels that I had all motor & I switched to a RSX 5 speed trans with Mfactory LSD! I had a 6 speed Type S trans when I was all motor.

Just put a new clutch in & shifting problems are gone! Crank pulley bolt is loose randomly, gotta fix that.

Ended up being the wrong throw out bearing not letting me get into gear.. tore up my crank where the flywheel bolts connect to.. 😞 lots of labor for that mistake.
