Not Draupadi, right before the beginning of war, Shree Krishna was sent as a peace messenger and on behalf of Pandavas, he requested only 5 villages from Duryodhan. But in response Duryodhana denied to give away the land even equal to a Needle’s tip. That’s the reason which sealed the deal and lead to war.

corrections : 1. draupadi had asked for 5 unique qualities in her husband in her previous life that could not be inculcated altogether in one person... so fate decided to marry her to 5 husbands. 2. lord krishna cursed ashwathama because he did foeticide of abhimanyu's wife when she was pregnant.

Some corrections; 1.Shri Krishna was indeed furious at Ashwatthama for killing the five sons of pandavas. But what let him to invoke the Sudarshan chakra to remove the gemstone from Ashwatthama's forehead was because even after killing those 5 he dared to attack the unborn child of Arjuna's son Abhimanyu's wife(Uttara) 2. Both Nakul and Sahdev ONLY had mustured up the courage to take A BITE of their father's corpse as instructed by Pandu. While Nakul gained the power of understanding and communicating with animals and was a specialised animal doctor; Sahdev got the power of astrology and forecasting the future however he was forbidden to tell his visions about the future because it could cause a calamity. 3. Draupadi was an incarnation of 5 ladies into one human body. If im not wrong(i dont remember clearly) those 5 ladies was cursed but later blessed to have their desired qualities husband. Thats why draupadi resulted to have 5 husbands where each represented the desired qualities. As for the intimacy, draupadi had a deal with their husbands that she will dedicate each of them one year respectively turn by turn to live as real husband and wife. So did she get intimate with all of them?=YES By the way, my explanation is based on some research I did. There may be other versions also. At 10.00, she started comparing Divya weapons with modern day RPG ? @arnabkashyap4850 I won't say you're wrong because when I did further research I came with 3 version of this mani's removal :- 1. Your version where Ashwatthama himself removes the mani and hands it to Bheem 2. 2nd version where Krishn asks Bheem to use his full strength to remove the mani from Ashwatthama's forehead 3. And thirdly what I said before, which is Krishn himself removes the mani. I hope in the the future we get to know the actual story of how the mani was removed from Ashwatthama's forehead.

Draupadi said that no need to kill him to Arjuna bcuz he was only man ( father of his was dead ) to his mother nd Draupadi had all his husband ( Here Krishna after hearing this given Chiranjeevi position to Ashwathama) But Arjuna said that I want to just kill him as a punishment of killing our children then Krishna said Insult of a Brahmin is equal to his death nd as a insult they both removed the mani on his( Ashwathama) forehead

Also there is one fact my mom said about mahabharat that After the Mahabharata War, Gandhari cursed Krishna that his clan, the Yadavas, would perish the way her children perished. Krishna accepted the curse and it came true 36 years after the war, when the Yadavas were drinking and enjoying life.

My fav character is suyyodhana because he was the only person in Mahabharata who thought us how to live in kali yuga being in dwapara yuga .. he thought us self respect is greater than anything els ❤

Not only sahdev eat the part of brain of king Pandu but also each one of the Pandavas did so after which Arjun who was excellent in all forms of art of war he just ate a lump from which he got the power of night vision war by which he could able to fight with all his strength even in the midst of dark night just by hearing the way of weapons. I mean sabd vedhi Vidya. Along with Nakul ate a part of the brain from which he got the power to heal any wounds by applying medicines written in Ayurved as well as he got the ability to speak to animals. He was an excellent sword man who used to flee with his horse in the heavy rain and come dry not even a single drop of water touching him by the way he sways his two swords. He was also able to talk to horses and other animals. Yudhishthir ate the part of Pandu's brain from which he got the talent of knowing a lot about Dharma or the righteousness. And bhim ate the part of the brain who gave him the strength to lift heavy and heavier objects in comparison to other Pandavas. Instead when you were narrating the story of barbarik it was actually different. Barberik got three sakti asthras or weapons from goddess kamakhya who was able to find three glitches or security holes in matrix or the simulation created by supreme God Vishnu or you can say Krishna who saw that even if the leaf was unsafe in the hands of krishna himself. So krishna meditated and found out those bugs and fixed them afterwards. Bhim got the immense strength from a juice made by snakes which in today's world called shape shifting creatures after getting poisoned by duryodhan in Nagaloka. That means there is a special place in earth is there where the shape shifting creatures are exhibiting. Thus by Bhima was able to hold a mace which was weighting more than 7 thousands 5 hundreds kilograms. Arjun thought archery to Satwaki and pradyumna who were never got defeated by any of the warriors resided in Mahabharat sculptures. Unlike the way you narrated here that Aswathama was able to kill all Pandavas sons because lord Shiva who was in charge of protection of them gave Aswathama the Chandrahas sword which sword was capable of cutting mountains by its sharpness. And the name was Chandra hasa means when someone use this weapon it was forming a shine bright like the curved 🌙 moon. And Lord Shiva gave this chandrahas sword to Aswathama because of the curse given in turn by the same Draupadi and Hidimba each other out of ego that their sons were going to be killed in the war without performing any act of war. And Abhimanyu got killed in the whirl of war because whenever Arjun was trying to teach his in womb son the art of getting into chakrabyuha but during coming out of the chakrabyuha was impossible for him to teach to subhadra as per the instructions given by krishna to goddess Saraswati that when Arjun would be teaching skills to come out of chakrabyuha she would make subhadra sleep. The demon Kalyaban's spirit was residing in Abhimanyu's body during the pregnancy of Subhadra. Due to which Krishna let him die in the war. And what you told about Aswathama was also wrong which was like Arjun could have easily killed Drona in war but king Drupad's son dhrustadyumna was born to kill him who was unable to do so because he was not that efficient in art of archery and when Yudhistir was saying that a creature was killed named Aswathama either an elephant or a man , during the man word krishna blew his conch so that Drona only heard that Aswathama was killed and dropped his weapon. And got killed by Dhrustadyumna. For which yudhishthir also was punished in hell. For saying lies actually not saying but supporting the act of lie plotted by Madhab. And not only in the end of kalyug Kalki bhagaban but also as his brother Arjun will take birth in this world to finish the very last quarter of eighteen days long war which got finished in 17 and third quarter. i think Arjun practiced the art of sadb bhedi vidya, when one night while having dinner at his gurukul a strong gust of wind blew out all lights and they continued having dinner. He realized that even after lack of light, hand guides the food successfully in the mouth due to sheer practice, he decided that if he practiced, he could use all his weapons successfully even in the unavailability of light.

@@andy15z22 He was no doubt the divine son of Surya dev and was one of the best archers but he made only one mistake that he supported hid friend who was wrong all along and silently watched the cheer haran of mata Draupadi.

When aswathama used brahmastra on abhimunnya's pregnant wife after his death then shree krishna lost his mind and used sudarshan chakra on his forehead and take his mani from him and then cursed him to live like that for years.and draupadi wanted 5 talents in her one husband but one man doesn't carry 5 talents together. that's why she got 5 pandavas as her husband and got 5 different talents from them.like yadhusthir was trustworthy,bheem was very strong and powerful,arjun was very brave warrior,nakul was very handsome and sahadev was very intelligent.

@@siddhishreemishra7968 No. Ved Vyaas had only passed the information of the boon Shiva gave to Draupadi. It was Narad Muni who gave a solution on this as rightly mentioned by @rama sastry. So the boon was Shiva and the curse and solution for the curse was from Narad Muni himself after Krishna's intervention.

Very nice information. But to adding to your story about Astras and technology, the other part well explained in Mahabharata is about various military formations used during the war. Famous example is Chakravyuh. We only hear about this formation but there were around 21 formations used during the 18 days of war. Another famous formation is one which was used to save Jayadratha. So to conclude, the formations used were way ahead of its time and we still do not have that knowledge of such formations.

barbarik's sacrifice had a reason behind it. after meeting shree Krishna, barbarik wanted to learn from him and made him his guru. when shree Krishna was done teaching him, he asked for guru dakshina from him and in that shree Krishna asked for that sacrifice.

Mata Kunti who is praying at that moment, without looking what exactly it is, announces “whatever Arjun has got as bhiksha should be equally distributed amongst the five brothers.

I didn’t know about the last birth story of Draupadi. What I read that Draupadi got married to Arjun during the swyamvar & when all the brothers came to meet their mother Kunti with Draupadi, Kunti was doing some household chores & without seeing anything, she replied you all brothers can share what you brought. Hence, all brothers were married to Draupadi. I also feel the name “drone” came from Dronacharya

Yes. Post that scene, she was cursed by Narad muni and later after Krishna's intervention, he provided a solution on this. The solution was that every year she will be with one husband and other husbands will not enter the room or chamber during their privacy. Which later Arjuna had to break it and go into exile. The reason for this division was coz that the brothers will not fight among themselves. Just like the story of Sunda and Upasunda which should not affect Pandavas.

It's wonderfully amazing to learn that our ancient scriptures ain't false once we start connecting each sequences of it to modern technology...at the same time it's wondering that how people practiced these methods like surrogacy, genetic engineering back then....Our Hindu scriptures have a lot of things to be known...

The fact that people have really seen ashwatthama and they either went insane or died soon after seeing him. There was a relative of my mom living in village( tauji the shayad mom ke) he once saw a man near a river at 4am(village mein 4am subah ho jati hai toh voh kaam se ja rhe the) when he came back he was very scared and he described the appearance of that man as A man with an injury on forehead and continuous blood was flowing from that injury And that man was very big and powerful which scared him He said he was not like normal humans. He was literally unable to speak anything and then he went silent. And after few days the relative died. ☹️ There are many stories which we listen as grandmas story but in reality they are facts. And iase bohut sare facts hai..from ghosts to gods everything is present with us. Thats why no need to accept everything but try to respect and carry that knowledge for your own safety. Jyada try krne ki chull mein mat raho nahi toh seedha agla janam try krna padega😂

Nakula and Sahadeva were Ashwini putras masters of ayurveda, and they can heal anyone So they did heal Karna after he donated his attached golden armour. Pandavas were strict in nature and were obedient. All Pandavas ate Pandu according to his commands. As pandavas never say "no" to their parents. The first command is command. That's what happened to Devi Kunti when she said to share the thing equally which Pandavas brought during their exile "Devi Draupadi." Each Pandava ate different organs so that each can get different qualities. According to Pandu's orders, the eldest son Yudhistira ate the brain, which made him wise. Sahadeva saw ants crawling from his father's corspe, so he ate the ants instead. Also, he saw things that were to be stopped, but he wasn't able to do so because of the fixed destiny.

I am not sure about all of the facts but 2 of these are surely a few that i have heard differently. 1. Barbaric - It is said that Barbaric from a younger age only dreamt of liberation. However, that needed a lot of efforts from yog to tapsya and was a longer path too. Hence, he asked his grandmom for a shorter way to meet liberation. This is when his grandmom told him about Sundarshan Chakra. The mightly astr of Lord Vishu. The one who dies with it was meant to liberate. Thus, he made sure to show himself as a threat to the Mahabharat War and met is demise because of the Sudarshan Chakra. However, because Lord Vishu was aware of his tactics he was deified by him. 2. Draupati's marriage - Its said that while wishing for a husband. She asked for supreme morality, strong, focused, neutral and intelligent husband. However, because these qualities couldn't be of one. She was granted with 5 husbands each having the qualities she asked for.

Thanks for this informative video on Mahabharata. Our ancient Indian scriptures and history is very powerful that's why Sanskrit is known as the mother of all languages. it was true that our ancient scriptures is the evidence of every powerful weapon and today's morden weapons are also created by knowing the working mechanism of ancient weapons like the nuclear missile is the morder version of pashupatastra of Arjuna.

The story of Sahadev eating his fathers corpse is actually false and later added by others.

Correction: sri krishna cursed Awswathama not because of he killed 5 son of pandavas, Awswathama released brahmastra point to Abhimanuy's wife utturus then krishna cursed him to immortal to the end of the earth

A few more stories from the Mahabharata that very few people know: *1. Iravan and Krishna:* When the Mahabharata was was going on, there was a point where it was impossible to say which side will ultimately prevail - one day, it'd seem like the Kauravas would win, and the next day, victory would seem to be on the Pandavas' side. Sahdev, the youngest Pandava, who was gifted the ability to predict the future and was a great astronomer, suggested a human sacrifice to goddess Kali in order to secure victory. But no ordinary mortal could be sacrificed, because Sahdev said that a perfect man, who had 32 sacred marks on his body, had to be sacrificed for it to be fruitful. The Pandavas searched the camp for one such man and found not one but three - Krishna, Arjuna and Iravan, son of Arjuna and the Naga princess Ulupi. As Krishna and Arjuna couldn't be sacrificed, they decided to sacrifice Iravan. But he put forward a condition, saying that he wanted to not want die a virgin. He wanted to die as a married man, so that a woman would weep for him when he dies. No woman was ready to marry a man who could be her husband for only a night, and then would die at daybreak. Krishna transformed himself into Mohini, the Enchantress, and willingly married Iravan and spent the night with him. They talked, laughed, made love, and by morning, Iravan was ready to die without any remorse or regret. When Iravan was sacrificed the next day, Mohini tore at her clothes, rolled on the floor and wept in such a way that no widow had ever done before. The intensity of her emotions moved the entire Pandava camp to tears. *2. Krishna prasises Karna:* As the Mahabharata neared it's climax, two of the greatest archers of their time, Karna and Arjuna, came face to face in the battlefield. All the soldiers stopped fighting to witness the legendary duel between the two. As they started to shower arrows on each other, Arjuna's chariot, with Krishna as its charioteer, was pushed a few yards back by Karna's arrows. At the meantime, Arjuna's arrows pushed Karna's chariot back by a few thousand yards. Meanwhile, Krishna kept on praising Karna. After sometime, Arjuna grew tired to his best-friend/guide praising his sworn enemy. An agitated Arjuna reprimanded Krishna and asked him why he praised Karna, who was achieving a feat that was far less remarkable than his own. Krishna smiled and replied, "Arjuna, you push back Karna's chariot, in which sits two humans, Karna and his charioteer Shalya. It is not hard to achieve, considering how great an archer you are. Karna, on the other hand, pushes back a chariot in which sits me and you - man and _God._ That is a far more impressive thing to do, if you ask me." *3. Arjuna is Beheaded:* After the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas prevailed. Yudishtir, who was crowned king, was advised by the sages to conduct an Aswamedh Yagna in a way similar to Lord Ram, so that his kingdom's prosperity increases. This time, Arjuna followed the horse. When the horse reached the state of Manipur, it was caught by a charming youth. Arjuna found his face somewhat familiar, but his thought was cast aside and was replaced by rage when he saw what the young man had dared to do. According to the rules, the young man had to combat with the most skilled warrior of the opposing forces, who happened to be Arjuna. The two of them began fighting, and surprisingly, the young man turned out to be a match for Arjuna in terms of combat. As they fought, something unexpected happened - one swoop of the sword, and with it, Arjuna's severed head fell to the floor. The greatest warrior was dead, killed in battle by a teenager. The youth began to scream and wail, and he turned out fo be none other than Babruvahana, son of Arjuna and the Nagpuri princess Chitrangada. When he asked for an explanation as to why he had to die at the hands of his own son, he was told that the goddess Ganga, who was the mother of Devavrata, or Bhishma, had cursed him that he would one day be killed by his own son when he had killed her only son in battle, through a breaching of rules. *4. Draupadi Admits Her Feelings:* When the Pandavas spent their thirteen years of exile in the forest, they were once walking through a forest. In that forest stood a jambu-plant, and in it, hang a ripe and juicy jambu-phal (berry). Draupadi, whose mouth watered at the sight of the fruit, could not resist the temptation and plucked the berry. As soon as she did so, a voice boomed, "What have you done, O Queen? How dare you pluck this berry? For the past couple of years, a sage had been meditating nearby, feasting on nothing. He will complete his meditation today. This fruit was supposed to fulfil his hunger. Now, the sage will go hungry and that would be your fault." A terrified Draupadi ran to her husbands and asked them to help her, but they could do nothing. None of them knew how to fix a fruit back to the branch. Then, the voice told her, "Only the power of chastity can do that. Draupadi, if you were truly chaste, you could have accomplished that with your powers." Draupadi tried, but failed. The voice accused her of being unchaste. She argued, "That's untrue. I've only been loyal to the husband who was assigned to me for a year and did not desire nor think about the others during that one particular year." The voice said, "If not your husbands, then there is someone else you love more." Draupadi sobbed, "I love Krishna, I admit, but only as a friend. I've never wanted him in a way one wants their beloved." The voice continued to taunt her, "No, Draupadi, there is someone else." A humiliated Draupadi cried out, "Yes! Yes, there is someone else - Karna! I love Karna. If I had not rejected him during the archery contest, I would have been his wife. I would have never been wagered away as a mere prize to be won. I would not have been called a wh*re who had been used by many men. I would have lived a life like a true queen, and he would have given me the respect I deserve. I wouldn't be here, wandering in the forest, exiled for no fault of mine." As she said this, the fruit attached itself back into the shrub, for true chastity does not mean devotion or monogamy, all it requires you to do is to be honest with yourself, your feelings and emotions. The Pandavas listened to her words in horror. Arjuna couldn't decide on whether to be angry with her or with himself as he realised how much he had failed her in the past few years. [Note: Stories 1 & 4 are not a part of Vyasa's Mahabharata. The story about the jhambu-fruit comes from local folklore. It is believed that the jhambu-fruit stains our tongue blue, reminding us about all the secrets we keep from the rest of the world. Personal point of view - In story 4, it seems hypocritical that Draupadi claims that she wouldn't have been called a "wh*re" had she married Karna. What she says is indeed true, as Karna is a man on honor, but... he was also the one who called her a "wh*re" and suggested her disrobing in the first place. He would have never let that happen to his wife, true, but he was the one accountable for the fact that it happened to HER.]

@@ishapaul3114 Arjuna being beheaded by babrivahan is true he did that and at last Arjuna encouraged him to do so Arjuna says "you are a kshatriya and your Dharma is to fight" at that time Arjuna was in his last phase before they travelled towards swarg after this prasang when babruvahan beheaded Arjuna Shri Krishna revived him, that's one story is true but the irvana and other stories are falsely made, first thing is the day prior to the kurukshetra war Devi Durga blessed Arjuna with victory and Shri Krishna was also on their side it was impossible for any army in the world except of indras army to defeat the Pandavas (if Shri Krishna is with them even the army of gods can't defeat them)
