I just got done with first wave of mods on my rs. Taking it to dragstrip in a week. Do you use the shift light on the cobb? Is it bright enough to react to it instantly? I'm used to old school shift lights that blind you. Lol. Not sure if its gonna do the job.

Ive never used the shift no, i doubt its enough depends on where you got it mounted too. Mine is mounted on the a-pillar.

@@WhiteblurrST i haven't taken it yet. Will be going friday night and will post results. Not getting a good launch using a dragy to verify. 60ft times are over 2 seconds. Gotta get that worked out.

That 3p intercooler pipe with BOV is for Hot side?

  • @WhiteblurrST

Yes sir it is! I had a tial bov flange welded on my mishimoto hot pipe also to fit my efr full race kit . I prefer the hot pipe location over cold pipe because its before the intercooler and its way easier access.

Why 17s and not 18s for wheels?

  • @WhiteblurrST

Ive had my 17s since 2013. The reasons are i don't like big wheels on small vehicles, the smaller wheel allows more sidewall which helps with ride quality, provides more safety from being bent from pot holes in the road, having more a thicker sidewall helps traction and longevity of suspension parts. The main reason i got them tho is the wheels are lighter, 16.9lbs vs 25lbs compared to stock weight. You definitely feel the difference in acceleration because there is less rotational mass. Ill probably make a video about this now, thanks for the idea.

@Tom3294. no problem man, i appreciate you asking the question. So the ratio is 1:6 , ive lost 8.1 lbs of rotating mass each wheel= 32.4lbs x6 is 194.4lbs of static weight! So my car weighs 2960 on the scale but rolling down the road its actually 2766. Lighter wheels also improves braking, handling!
