500$ Four Bedroom KOREAN APARTMENT TOUR 🏠| Incheon

It's a 160m² (49pyeong) apartment with 4 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry room, and a small balcony.
I pay less than $500 per month but this is because I split the bills with my roommate but still very affordable compare to Seoul!

This is insane! An apartment that big would be like $10,000 US minimum in NYC. Even without a roommate that's still way more affordable!

@Carol Except that it really is that cheap. The key money isn’t a big deal if you’ve been saving for a while and you can just get a low interest loan to cover the rest like he did. Korean apartments are absolutely much much much cheaper than western Apartment

right?!? when I went to college I paid 700+ to share a 2 bedroom apartment with 6 girls (and basically their SOs too). granted apartments near college campuses in the US will always be expensive, but still! 500 for 4 bedrooms is a dream.

Finally, an honest portrayal of adult life: messy home, invites company, realizes it's a hot mess, apologizes, and cleans expeditiously. Lmao! I've gotten to the point where sometimes I tell my best friend to come over just so I can use the anticipation of their arrival as motivation. Some days, you gotta do what you gotta do.

This video was made a while ago. The prices went up (crazily) and now it’s going downs again but here are some things to clarify so some of you don’t get confused! 1. I took a loan to lease the place ( explained the system in the video) The interest for the loan was roughly $320 per month back then. including utilities it was $650. I have a roommate so it’s $325 each for 2 people. I just wrote $500 to include extra living costs like internet, insurance and etc. 2. To do Jeonse( Korean lease system) you need to pay 50-80% of the price of the house and back then it was ($241,000)-which is much cheaper compared to Seoul. You could get bank loan up to 80% of this amount. So We needed to prepare minimum of $24,200 each as deposit. ( which was just a little more than my deposits in Seoul for a small apartment) 3. To rent this place back then, it was $24200 deposit and $1000 per month as rent. 4. Now the interest rate doubled so it’s extra $160 each. I pay around $600 per month for the house including everything. The overall prices even in Incheon went up along with everywhere else in Korea. But now it’s going down again. Hopes this clears some of the questions!! I’ll make a new video soon on housing!! INCHEON?! Dan, you keep opening up more possibilities for when I get there! Hmmm. Your home is BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous *views,* so spacious, great bathrooms and amenities... and the KITCHEN!! OMG, it's a Dream! Do they also do 2-bedrooms? bc I wouldn't want a roommate, if I can avoid it.... I'm still (kind of) locked into a lease here, which I could probably sublease, in a pinch, so I won't be moving to Korea for a "minute," but.......... (Btw, you could be an Ambassador for each place you've vlogged from! If you have to LIVE in a place to be an Ambassador, then I hope the Incheon powers-that-be are paying attention to you! GL, Dan!) #aRMyLOVE💙

I could say it is a way cheaper than what I expected! You have a beautiful view and one big apartment to enjoy! In the past 18 years my husband and I managed to live in 3 different countries, USA (Chicago), Canada (Vancouver), and Bulgaria, so from my point of view I can tell you have a decent home to live in. I just don't like the idea of giving someone your money to work with while living in their property, 80% is crazy. Why people do that 😕? I gotta look for more info for that Jeonse thing, it sounds like a scam...

You are me when I clean lol. I actually told myself earlier today to get it together and pick up, so as soon as this video is done i’m going to do it 😅 Anyway this was a really cool video! Very informative and it inspired me to start looking for places to move again. I have been wanting to move for a long time for a change of scenery and to learn about different countries and cultures. I haven’t necessarily considered Korea, but I just stumbled upon your channel recently and now I am really intrigued! I’d love to visit someday once COVID is better under control. Keep up the cool videos! p.s. the puppies are the cutest 🥺

Incheon is THE place to live. It's only 17 miles or 27 km from Seoul. Incheon has an international airport and is by the ocean with many ocean view Apts. It's also cheaper. I visit Korea after BLACKPINK introduced me to the charms of Korea and I stay with friends in Incheon and we motor into Seoul for concerts and the night life. I am actually seriously considering buying a house in Incheon as investment property.

First of all: I want those pijama looks so comfy. Second the apartment is really beautiful and checking how big it’s, with beautiful views and probably has amenities it’s very affordable (except for the big amount of the Jeonse). I’m absolutely in love with the open kitchen 💗💓. It would be interesting to know how much you pay for the loan cause you need to add to your spends the interests of the loan and the anual inflation of the Jeonse (probably would be better to buy the property but also depends of the needs or instead of take the loan change the car ;) Just Kidding). In Mexico I hadn’t heard something like the Jeonse but sounds really interesting, here we have the real state leasing that offers you the possibility to buy the property in a time of 1 to 10 years and pay it in concept of monthly rent without a deposit. Sorry if I extended to much I got a little excited hahaha Have a wonderful day ✌🏽

$500!!! Here the USA it would be hard to find a 4bd apartment in great condition that i am ask. Quite spacious, too. Here the in USA it would cost about $3209 to$ 5000 depending on the neighborhood, utilities, and etcetera. The down payment is also either a $1000. That's if they hold your place. I heard too many horrible stories about that here in my homestate as well other states in the United States. The most landlords be on BS. From where I am at. This is good news for me. Makes me want to hurry up more there.

Bathroom for the dogs is hilarious. I've seen it in some programs, but never thought people actually use a bathroom for the dog to do what it needs to do... Don't you take the dog out for a walk to do it (and, of course, collect and put it in a poop bag )?

so like I said I used Jeonse (leasing system) and it was $260,000 ( but you can get up to 80 % loan which means the minimum amount of money you need is $52,000) but the prices went up and now it’s like over $400,000 which means you need more than $80,000…. if it was in rent it used to be $50,000 deposit, $1000 rent ( compared to seoul this is super cheap for house this big) but this is also much more expensive now
