This is a test to generate 500 melodies using AI assisted Pilot Melody of the Pilot Plugins and see how well it performs.
Since there's no demo version available for people to try, I thought many would wonder if it is any good and can it generate a large amount of melody ideas that sound good and without repeating.
I deliberately stick to only 1 of the 9 styles and also not using any of the style knobs to tweak the style for additional variations. I am thinking if it is able to generate 500 variations of good melodies without any additional tweaking, then it is good.
I set the tempo to 150bpm so it would take less time but the entire test still took almost an hour to complete.
But come to think of it, generating 500 Melodies in under 1 hour is pretty incredible. You can't get anywhere near that by manually painting in the piano roll or if you can play piano, it'd take a lot longer to accomplish the same, that's if you don't run out of ideas before that.
The Pilot Plugins are made by Mixed In Key and includes Pilot Melody, Pilot Bass and Pilot Arpeggio.
Plugins from Captain Plugins Epic are also used in this test project, in specific Captain Beat Epic and Captain Chords Epic.
