A week on the holiday line in South Devon saw a total of 3 steam locomotives in action. Including S160 2253 'Omaha', 75014 'Braveheart' & 'Hercules' 4277. Over the course of the 5 days saw an intensive timetable, giving the opportunity to catch the locos working hard at a range of locations along the line. 2023 also saw the Dartmouth Steam Railway celebrate their 50th anniversary of running steam trains to Kingswear from Paignton. Which meant wearing a commemorative headboard on every service. Unfortunately 'Omaha' failed its fitness to run test midweek with 4277 having to replace its duties.
