50 Years of the Ever-Changing Marquette

Pieces of the Past - Jim Koski Video Stories
"These are short video stories of Marquette. Some of the tales are famous, some are not, but all of them are interesting, at least to me.
Many of the pictures and materials come from the History Center's John M. Longyear Research Library. A few are my own. And others come from the amazing collection of Jack Deo & Superior View Studios, who's graciously allowed us to use them.

If you like what you see, feel free to join us the next time we're giving a tour or putting on a program at the History Center. Or - since you're already here - maybe just make a donation (www.marquettehistory.org/dona.... Either way, you're helping the History Center continue to bring the history of the area to life. Thanks.
- Jim"
The History Center would like to thank Jim Koski for sharing these fantastic videos with us. Thanks for bringing history alive, Jim! Check out our website for more of Jim Koski's videos, upcoming events, and to find out how to connect with us!

Same here, I moved away in 1986. I live on the other side of the world now, but often think about those childhood memories. Fingers crossed, I make it back someday and see all the changes.

I haven't lived there since 1988. I know where that picture is taken from, but I don't recognize the buildings.
