I once saw a giant framed photo of the 46 footer in the thumbnail. Have always loved Bertram.
I truly enjoyed watching this documentary; extremely well done. My father owned the 25' FBSF with twin Mercruiser 165 's. Years later he bought a 1984 38' FBSF with CAT 3208's. One of my brothers bought a 31' FBSF with 330 Mercruisers; not soon after repowered with Yanmar diesels. Suffice to say, my family LOVES THEIR BERTRAMS! Great to see the new owners recapture the core traditional integrity of the true Bertram line. It seems their on the right track; undoubtedly their fan club must be very pleased thus far 😎.
I started working at Bertram in 1977 on the 58 foot line. It was a great company to work for.

Yo tuve el honor de trabajar 14 años en Bertram Yacht y llegue a ser Foreman de prototipo , me fui de Bertram en el año 1994, pude ver con que amor trabajaban todos sus empleados y la calidad era insuperable , pues habia un extricto control de calidad , y tenia muchos beneficios los cuales hoy en dia gracias a Dios y a Bertram tengo seguro por la factoria , tenia incentivos de cualquier trabajador que se le ocurriera algo para aumentar la productividad y la calidad , pedias en las oficinas una planilla y detallabas tu inventiva y si determinaban que en realidad funcionaba te regalaban $100 , yo casi todos los meses recibia una o dos bonificaciones de 100 dolares por mis ocurrencias

mon histoire a lage de 11 ans je fait le menage dun bertrame 25 pendant 4 ans ce bertram est vendue en 1981 18 ans plus tard en 1999 jai rachete ce bateau et depuis ce temp jai toujour ce bateau avec ces moteur original pour moi bertram est ce que ferrari est en formule 1
