Deleoy is in phenominal shape. I'd have never guessed he'd been in the trade 50 years. Obviously clean living and looking after himself. Good man Del.

50 years in the trade, what a beast man. Im 11 years in, im a journeyman electrician in west texas, oil field trash. Even though british and american electricians use totally different materials and have different rules and regulations we go by, we are electricians no matter what country you live in. Cheers from one sparky to another.

Hello Delroy, Watching and listening to you was music to my ears, I'm a 1970's apprentice and remember well the joys of metal conduit and Pyro as we called it then (MICC to the IET). I remember working on a council development and was amazed the Pyro went surface in the middle of the lounge wall to supply the next flat. And the conduit which was broken or else fed the next door flat!! Remember those metal modular CU's that mated with the conduit sometimes the tubes ran diagonally. I am watching your videos with interest. I am now retired due to a spinal problem probably due to the fact us young lads were thrown beneath the floor or pushed up into the roof to run the cables. Take Care Mate.

Real interesting history Del... Your comment about the guy with the 'shakes' pouring the tea reminds me of a guy I knew in the 60s who suffered very badly from shell-shock after the war. He walked around, but both hands literally wouldn't stop shaking - but he got on with life.. And manually breaking out the ends of the nails... they can't do anything these days unless it has a battery attached; ok, tools save time, but there are some who just don't know how....
