@@RussianGuyBro It's a Quantum mechanics thing called Schrodinger's Cat; basically, a cat is put in a sealed box with some poison and/or radioactive matter. Until the box is opened again, you must assume the cat is both dead and alive. The Dwight being Schrodinger's Dwight is therefore simultaneous inside the locker and out of it, since he's using deception.

I don't know how you can call it a win without 12 hooks and at least 1 reverse chainsaw into Quentin.

at 38:43 , Ace dead harded into you. However, while rushing you actually slide off of survivors. But because of the angle, he instead pushed you back with his dead hard. Therefore by the end of the swing, he was right in front of you to hit.

small correction, the z flick is basically the new way to j flick, its just a double 90° flick. the tech you referred in the video as zflick is a scoot surf. this makes you lose collision on surfaces when looking down

The high skill floor was the reason; he takes a lot to learn and master and plays way differently from most other killers, that was the main reason it was so hard for him iirc

*low Lower skill floor = harder to pick up When learning something, you're trying to touch the skill ceiling. If the floor is higher, it reduces the distance between the ceiling and your starting point, but if the floor is lower, it INCREASES the distance between your starting point and the ceiling.

@@mythmage8231 i believe it's a high floor. A higher floor means harder to pick up. You start at zero experience (below the floor) and try to reach the minimum (floor) of experience needed to pilot the killer at a good level. So higher floor is harder to reach a good level, where high ceiling is harder to reach peak performance. The skill ceiling is independent from the floor, and the range between them is the difference in skill between a good vs a great player. Hope this makes sense.

@@mythmage8231 ...no... thats not right... If it has a low skill floor, it means its easier to pick up as you dont have as far to "climb" to reach the skill needed to play them decently. If it's a HIGH skill floor, it's more difficult to pick up as you have to "climb" to higher skill to play them decently. Same with skill ceilings. Low skill ceiling = lower to climb to reach the skill needed to master them. High skill ceiling = higher to climb to reach the skill needed to master them.

2:50 what I usually do against Dead Hard (and this almost always works) is just swing when I am right next to them. Blight’s lethal rush attack is actually longer than Dead Hard, so if you swing when you’re right on top of them you’ll always swing through the Dead Hard and hit them.

Hey Otz! I'm really happy that you're enjoying Blight and showing community how neat he is! I just wanted to clarify what you're describing by looking down to control when you slide on walls is called a Scoot Surf, discovered by Scoot. I see that it's already in the pastebin! The ZFlick was coined by LilithOmen to describe how 180 Flicks require multiple mouse flick inputs rather than single swipe like the old JFlick in the current patch. Nonetheless, great video and as always exciting matches!

As a Blight main, this does put a smile on my face.

@@danishyusop6413 they buffed him recently so he’s almost as good as pc blight with how you control him. It used to be really bad but they made a console specific change and now he’s smooth.

Congrats, Otz! Blight is my favorite killer to play. He’s very powerful and he has a pretty steep learning curve. He feels very rewarding to play as! The build I use is very basic; it consists of BBQ, Ruin, Undying, and Sloppy Butcher. I mainly use Sloppy to slow the game down, but I will occasionally swap it for Tinkerer. I find it to be very effective. Have a great one dude!

Blight is the most fun killer in the game and the most satisfying to chase with, good job on the streak Otz.

Damn. Not having Legion gameplay for a year is worth it for this

The streaks are always incredibly satisfying to watch! Just watching the progress you make over multiple weeks is so, so much fun!

I adore how Otz is one of the best people around, positive attitude and can admit mistakes along with showing frustration and overcoming it in the end. But I LOVE how he is not afraid to throw shade at endgame chat

the z flick is actualy using multiple smaller flicks lifting up the mouse in between to turn past 90 degrees, the wall slide 180 is known as the scoot slide after the player tht discovered it!

as someone who doesnt play blight: if that gets fixed its plain stupid, fixing it would be ruining new gameplay techniques like if you fixed explosion jumping in TF2

Yup. People get offended so easily. Even stuff like hitting on hook, nodding, t-bagging, clicking are enough to trigger people, they are that sensitive. Just play the game as intented and don't give any fucks, people.

Hey otz, why is nobody talking about ruin+surveillance. The synergy these 2 perks have is insane. You get so much info without even touching a gen until ruin is gone

I think my favorite thing about these streak video's is seeing all the stuff otz learned :D

It is available on mobile, and the quality is pretty much the game gems play-wise (except it has less characters atm). Try it. Free and a lot of fun (takes plenty of time to get used to though, as there are plenty of game perks, mechanics and possible enemies encountered as a survivor, each with unique set of powers). PC version makes some characters paid-only, which is a shame. In mobile, any characters (even the cool movie ones, like the ones from Stranger Things, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream, etc) can be eventually earned. The character you watched in this video is not yet in the mobile version. However, even if he were to be, that kind of thing is disorienting and difficult to get used to for new players. Try basic characters (especially Trapper/Wraith, as they are pretty straightforward) instead.

First time watching your videos and I'm extremely impressed by how in depth you go! Especially with the tips and examples you used in specific situations. I jsut starting streaming dead by daylight and I played 1 game with The Blight blind and it was painful. Like and subscribed.
