Omg the MJK stall is my favourite breakfast snack! I use to eat it during my lunch too 😂 looks soo good 🤤. Its also nice to know that you enjoyed it, i think the owner is cutting down on the plastics , really we need to show more support to the new hawkers! Love your vids.

Yeah.. the MJK was delicious indeed.. I initially didn’t plan on it. But after seeing such a line for it. Decided to give it a go despite my exploding tummy. Great skills these young hawkers.. kudos

What’s striking about this video is your display of concern and filial piety towards the elderly. It is touching how you plead with everyone to help the elderly out. Well done; you are head and shoulders above the crowd. What a gentleman. 😊

Lan Xiang Ban Mian is my favourite! I always eat the You Mian 幼面. The soup is savoury & the chilli sauce goes well with the noodles. I always pour the whole chilli into the soup. The lady seller is very friendly & good memory.

Great video, Piggypuggy, showing latest in Bukit Merah hawker centre. Loved the fried kway teow - mesmerising music and your devouring heavenly food. its been selling 50 over years then for only 20 cent! Keep it up ;-)

Like me.. I haven't been back since early 90s 😅 Singapore's got too many hawker centres

Elderly know the traditional taste,so they really know how to enjoy ,😋😂

To be fair, the middle one is nice and quite famous. The aunty said middle one not nice 😂

Not bad still can get a plate of CKT for $3.50 and only charge 50 cents for extra egg. Must support before they disappear. Haven't visited this hawker center for a long time ever since I shifted out of Telok Blangah. Time to visit again

Yeah.. must visit for old times sake.. I think many young customers went to the other stall which was voted one of the best in Singapore.. for me.. I wanted to try the older stalls.. especially if all the uncles and aunties are in line for it. Like auntie said.. they’re only here to pass time. Not enough salary for their “coolie kang” labourous work 😅

Only visited a handful of times. Last visit was to eat night & day ckt during Covid years.

I didn’t go straight for the night and day coz I just wanted to see how old school this other one is. That’d be quite a distance for you to travel. The other 2 CKT champs are in Telok Blangah. I haven’t tried the crescent one since his Margaret drive days. 😅

Day and Night has so much publicity.. but I'm sure they're one of the best as recommended by many. I haven't tried before

Q started with taiwanese. Means the noodle is al dente

Their ingredients and taste is old school. Loved those soft strips of fishcake and thin lip Cheong.. wok hei always depends on time and day with the amount of traffic. Early morning would be best for wok hei 😅

Looks shiok ! But Piggy Puggy, I’ve mentioned few times before… I would appreciate if U state the opening & closing times ( & their off~days). It was frustrating when I went to a stall ( quite far from my home) but it was closed 😕

Tried so so only but i just don't understand why KWT have the fish cake and Chinese sausage green vegetables. The actual KWT just cockles and beansprouts. Well its up to Individual tastes.
