I know it might sound odd but the power of a pedicure cannot be understated. As a nurse I see SO MANY people with feet that are beyond repair. They carry us through life and paying healthy attention to them can benefit you for years to come. ❤

We’ve been on our minimalism journey for about 7 years and I have to say I believe that’s the way Christ lived when he walked the Earth. My husband started saying that we needed to slow down in our faith, our relationships and well in everything else. I recently found this channel and can’t stop watching your videos. This community is a blessing being able to see others going through similar life experiences. Thank you for all your time spent making these videos!

Halfway through the video and I absolutely love your list of self care. Because it's sometimes the small things that make us happy and why can't that be a form of self care. Whenever you watch videos, self care is always face masks, face routines, and beauty related, which is fine, it that's what makes you happy that is okay. But such the minute things such as feeling the sun on your skin, cuddling your toddler, fresh bread??? Girl, this list is amazing and made me realize that self care comes in so many different forms. Thank you

Thanks Madisun. I really needed this video today. I'm 4 yrs out from breast cancer treatment.I swore to myself that I wouldn't fall back into old habits. Cancer treatment changes you and since I'm not the old me I wanted to start fresh and live my life more authentically in this new phase. I'm still figuring things out and lately I feel like I've slipped into old habits/patterns. Watching this video today you have reminded me of what's important and I even watched it a second time and started making a list of my own. So, thank you for reminding me of the little things. XX

I teared up immediately when you started your list. Since I am older than you I am going to take the liberty to say I am so proud of you. You have done amazing things by the small changes in your life (maybe they are bigger than they appear ) and you children are going to look back to a beautiful childhood. My parents gave me that gift as well and it’s truly a rare gift. If you ever had a conference I would absolutely be there. I am going to check into your course now! May God bless you and keep you. ❤

Aww Madi, I've been preaching about how simple are the ways our body recharges and detoxes... these ways are not talked about because there won't be any marketing behind them! Drinking CLEAN water, eating alkaline foods...even fasting...grounding and deep breathing.... I love how you always talk about the importance of rest... so underestimated nowadays! The real title of this video: gratitude as self care. Love this so much. I was planning a lil self care night and and after binge watching your videos a couple nights ago, as I was at Whole Foods looking for self care ingredients (where I’d used to buy face masks, new nail polish, hand and food masks, hair masks, etc.) I settled for a nice quality chapstick that I’ve been desperately needing, and a snack to enjoy as I groom my nails with products I already have at home. Thanks for being such an inspiration to me. You’ve truly been the reason I went on a minimalist journey 6 months after my daughter was born 🫶

I love your content, thank you for posting. My kids had me as stay at home mom when they were under 5 for the most part, then gentle school with others and learning how to socialize & show & tell in front of a group. I didn’t have the show & tell (presenting) component as a child and it’s been an awful struggle for me. For them its as easy as breathing and I’m so glad. Interacting with your peers and understanding intrinsic social circles is important. My family and kids had all the parks/ocean/outdoor/slow learn/community/active learning relaxing etc moments you could ask for. Between primary & extended family it worked out great. They are now in their late 20s and WOW they are living their best lives. Super successful and doing incredible things outside of work. Makes my decision to emigrate from UK to CA for a better life worth it. As the years go by you will adjust to their and your best interests and I wish you all the best!

This video helped me so much. I have such an odd feeling of discontent and this urge to just spend and buy right now. I feel like my KZread channel has been inundated with New Spring Wardrobe or Spring Decor Resets and I think it's made me feel like I need this all too. I try and make sure I'm subscribed to my favorite people who represent slow and simple living but for some reason my feed is just covered with other things. It's crazy because it's the first time I realized how negatively it can effect our moods. Your videos always remind me that I can be simple and not have to keep up. Thank you so much for being so real and reminding me that we can just be. 💕

I like your list. I had a notebook for a while to list things I was thankful for and it helped me become more content in those little things. I do like the cloth you used to cover your bowl. I have never seen Chef's Table. I have seen different shows about foods (like Fat, Salt, Acid) but not that. I think I'll look into it. It is so cute watching your kids with the dough and trying to toss it up and make it wider. I've never made my own pizza other than small fried dough pizzas that I learned to make from my mother-in-law (who is half Italian). Any website for a recipe so I can try a fuller pizza? Those ones look so good, that you made.

Thank you

This video made me so happy. I feel like I’m good at counting my blessings, but looking at things asking myself, “what makes me happy” suddenly there are more blessings!
I'm 65 and will always watch and love your videos. Love your lifestyle and how you have managed to not go with 'everyone else' but be your own person. I also love how you have turned your home into something so beautiful.

I'm so in the MADI FAN CLUB! Your videos are some of the best things on the internet. You have changed my perspective on so many things for the better: i.e. minimalism, 10 item wardrobe, cleaning, motherhood, childhood, screens, rhythms, and celebrating life! I have made so many changes because of your channel. Seriously thank you for all your hard work!

XX

Every time I watch your videos I tear up. It makes me realize how grateful I am for my simple slow living life homeschooling my three children and enjoying it as well. So thank you so much for what you’re doing and I hope you inspire more people along your journey.

Thank you for making a list of self care I can do while with my kids!😘🌿🙏

I'm glad you're on KZread. Thank you for sharing with us. I've only seen a handful of your video's and I just love you! I lost touch with this kind of living for some time and it surprisingly hasn't been easy to get back into it again. I appreciate the inspiration dearly. There is really SO much to be grateful for! 💖
Your videos are so calming, I love them!
Love your story telling ❤
I enjoyed this video so much, it gave me so much peace. It showed me that people have sooo much in common. Lots of love to you and your Family Madisun!!🩷🩷🌷
I absolutely love this because its different from other self care videos that tell you to go buy something, or make you feel bad about what you have or don't have. this reminds you to just slow down, and when you take a step back some of your favorite most relaxing things could be hidden pin your every day routine.

Hey Madi! Thank you so much for making societal change real and applicable for each and everyone who feels like that! You inspired me to pursue my dream: Quitting my marketing job after years and following my inner path to Italy this summer! Can’t wait.🙏🏼 It would be super interesting to see a little more of your life before your simple & slow way started to get a better idea of the fact that every woman can change. Grazie & lots of ❤ from Germany

Thank you for reminding me what I want out of my life ❤I stumbled across your account a couple of months ago, when nursing my first born. And the last few weeks I have started a new inner journey to actually start apply all what I already know. I started a minimalist journey around five years ago and thrived but since 2020 I have been a bit lost. Now I´m reclaiming myself and what´s really important. So thank you and sending much love from Sweden ❤

I just ❤ the entire message you spoke to my heart😊

Can someone on here recommend another KZreadr like Maddie please. My main thing with others I have found is that they sound like they are reading a script the whole time and they’re not using their own voice or are pretty much whispering to make themselves sound relaxed!! I’m not being a hater, I just really love how effortless and raw Maddies videos are and I want more of that!!! Xx
Mmmm! I love this Madi. I took a social media rest and got back and was able to "binge watch" three of your videos and it was the best! I feel like Juney thinks the sun is shining just for her too.
