I just realized that there are two meanings of 'take off' in this lesson. The first Take Off, means depart and the second one which means taking off something.

Dear teacher, there are words "separable and non-separable". What do they mean? I read grammar book, we can put object between the phrase verb "pick up", for ex: I picked him up yesterday from school. But some phrase verbs, we can not put object bw phrase verb, for ex: sit down. So, how to distinguish them?
@EverythingEnglishwithJohn

Hi! In a lot of my videos I explain there's no easy way to know, so I put the information here for each verb. It can help you memorize better. Unfortunately that's what makes these verbs so confusing sometimes.
@MilaRose-zf7ib

You can put an object between sit down. Example: I will sit him down and talk to him. Or: we sat ourselves down for dinner. 👍🏽
Thanks a million😭🧎♂️
