Please be aware of the need to wear a mask when you use acrylic spray paints either indoors or outdoors which is only slightly safer. The acrylic paint is non-biodegradable plastic and its microscopic particles are inhaled to form over time a permanent film on the lung surfaces. Because their breathing has been constricted, artists who have used acrylic sprays have been forced to rely on portable oxygen tanks to survive. I have also heard that the particles can cause cancer..

locker shelves, (bought on clearance after school starts) are great under the bathroom sink to get more verticle storage. large and sturdy and also rather taller that the little dollar store shelf, will give you taller space under the shelf for things like shampoo bottles

Excellent!! BEST ORGANIZING video I SEE YET for DOLLAR TREE. IF THEY ARE NOT SPONSORING YOU, SHAME ON THEM. I will use the container that looks like a pocket book for a beach bag..(grey bag with handles)

I literally took out a dozen small milk carton containers to donate - I'm getting them back in the house, getting some zip ties and spray paint and then will get wood to go over awesome looking shelves! You have so many great ideas! This is just one of the few I will use. 💖

i know my mouth dropped open when I saw that! I'm POOR-not just sayin' and that is a doable option. I cant afford such ''furniture''. That literally blew my mind. I had seen that idea yrs ago stacked crates for books, toys but not put together NICE like a storage unit. BRILLIANT

This is great. I have an idea or two that might help someone maybe if they have less space, the measuring cups and spoons that are stackable would take up less space if you keep them together and then you can use the hooks for more items to free up the drawer. Also if they don't have what you need at the dollar tree always check Ross before spending $10 for things! Trust me! They always have greta items for less than most stores.

I came across the snap and lock containers a few months ago and thought i would try them out. I have a salad spinner so i always wash all my salad before it eat and i was wondering if they really would keep my salad fresh after it was washed. I love them so much that i went back to dollar tree and bought 6 more in different colors. I bought 3 different colors to keep my salad and fruit organized. For me these are a huge time saver because i have protein intolerance which for me means my diet is lots of fresh veggies. I buy my salad mix at SAM's where i can get a container to last me 5-6 days that is bigger than anything i can buy at a grocery store. I hate when my salad goes bad before i can eat it all. Do not let the size of the container fool you it holds enough salad for dinner plate. I love having those little baskets inside because it helps to keep everything from sitting in water and making it go bad.

Same here! Command Hooks are also a great help for organizing, and utilizing storage space. I'm ADD/Depression as well, and one thing stay at home time has afforded me was time to seriously use hyper-focus (usually at night) to organize, and declutter. Hook by the door for keys and purse...and mask 😷 helps me from wasting time searching for that stuff. 🙂

Love the Toy Story baby room. We had pretty much the same for our son, except the walls were blue with the white clouds like Andy's room in the movie. Once Cooper is on the move though, the Christmas lights need to be ditched or strewn up. When our twin daughters showed up, we felt confident in our parenting. Until one day, they climbed up a corner shelf onto their changing table and pulled all the things off the top shelf one-by-one. Wipes and tissues were taken out individually and diapers were everywhere. They had climbed out of their cribs (for the first time) and did this when they were (supposedly) napping. I had them show me how they did it on video later. Now, they had incriminated themselves. They are now 15yo and still remember when they made it "snow" indoors.

@Cheryl Mayers *I love those little drawers too* ‼️‼️‼️ *I know they are stackable but - even better is that you can easily pop off the top of one set of drawers and the bottom of another, and they will actually snap into place to make 1 solid unit!* *You can repeat this with several drawer sets without and problems opening the drawers! Everything stays perfectly aligned and remains solid with a sturdy snap-on connection! Both of my daughter’s have an 8 drawer “stack” on the opposite side of the bathroom they share to hold their hair bands, clips, bobby-pins, mini-hair bands in several colors, q-tips, cotton balls and chapstick!* *Years ago, I found them in all black instead of bright colors and bought the last 2 and stacked them up for my husband. He still uses that 4 drawers tower to hold his contacts, q-tips, the black bands he uses on to keep his giant beard under control, and in the bottom drawer are his tweezers, min-scissors and nail clippers… I friggin LOVE those little drawers but haven’t seen them in my local store for over a year now…* 💁🏻‍♀️ *Just wanted to mention in case you want do you have more options/play with the ones you already have. Don’t forget to save any extra tops or bottoms in case you change your mind down the road.* *Cheers ~* *Meg / Tucson, AZ.* 😉

Thanks for all these great ideas. It's inspiring to see what my cabinets could look if I just took the time to organize them. It seems like the bigger the house the more things you can accumulate to fill it up. lol. Dollar Tree is such a great place to get organizing containers. It hurts to think of the cost of some of the containers I've gotten from other places for so much more.

I have an added idea for your book bin holding your plastic wraps. You put yours in a cupboard but many of us have other things in that cupboard, like spices. So a great way to create extra space is to take that book bin and attach it to the inside of your cupboard door with those 3M Command strips mounting tapes. You know, the kind that you can remove without making a mark. You can also use this idea on a wall. I’ve also used “Alien Tape” to do this. I hope this helps. Dee😁👍

Great ideas! I have one for you, on the labels you put on round containers, try using a piece of clear packing tape over them. It's kind of like laminating them. Good for items you use a lot, or hand wash. Also good for items you label in the bathroom. Keeps them on even thru the steam. Thanks for all your great ideas, hope mine are helpful for you. I'm new also....I too suffer from MAJOR depression & anxiety...it's awful. It causes the smallest chore, to be overwhelming. Just to get up and feed my husband and myself, is extremely trying. I've suffered with this since my teens. (49 y/o now) It's been a long bumpy road. I'm hoping Bethany's advice can help me get more organized bc my husband & I had to downsize & it's been tricky for me to organize bc I'm so overwhelmed! I feel like this ➡️ 🤔-🤨-😔-😪-😡=🤪⬅️ I feel nuts by the end of it all. I wish you well & hope you can get a handle on your "rollercoaster ride" of emotions. It's a battle, that's for sure! Blessings, From New Jersey! 💜 BTW, Thank You For This Informative Video, Brittany. I'm Definitely Going To Try A Lot Of The Tips. 💜

Something I have found with those cheap storage containers is that they are not really airtight so things go stale faster and bugs can get in. So to remedy that I use “Press N Seal” or plastic wrap over the top of the container just before I put the lid on. Plus to keep bugs away I lay several pieces of fresh basil on top of the plastic, under the lid. Bugs hate the smell of basil or fresh mint. Also, you can write dates on plastic bottles with with dry erase markers and they wipe right off when you need to remove or change the writing on it.

I use a turn table under the sink. That makes things in the back easily accessible. I use the smaller turn table for my spices. The large turntables are from IKEA, wooden. I have some large plastic ones from years ago. I find that when things are doubled in front of another bin things don't stay organized because it is a hassle to get to the bins in back. Some good ideas though that I will have to implement.

@@BargainBethany Yeah i get that, i can tell that you are extremely ethical and would never recommend something that you don’t actually love/use...that’s why i feel like you would be the perfect person to do those kinds of videos. I would 100% trust your opinion! I have seen people sponsored by TJ Maxx/Home Goods, baby diaper companies, HONEST (since you obviously love their stuff), SkillShare (which I think is in line with your content!), Grove Collaborative, various apps, and many more! I feel like it wouldn’t be Dollar Tree (I feel like they don’t sponsor ANYONE although they ABSOLUTELY should sponsor you) but you do so much for us and I think a little bit of a stretch (in terms of exact correlation to DT DIYs) is definitely not unreasonable! Maybe you could even start with Amazon affiliate links for stuff that people can’t find at their DTs...anyway, i hope I don’t sound to pushy, we are the same age but i have an old lady’s soul LOL... I wish I had a company that could sponsor you, SO many thanks for all that you do! My baby is almost the same age as Cooper (but he’s my 3rd BOY) and it CAN NOT be easy making the high quality content you make while managing a new baby...You are SO appreciated, girl! 💛

Thank you for your video! Wow, did this ever help me to think outside the box! I have a "dish pan" that I store in the back porch for the occasional times I want to soak my feet. I also have a space under my bathroom sink to store extra toilet paper. While I was looking for a container to hold my toilet paper, I saw your dish pan. So I paired them together. The dishpan now holds my toilet paper (6 rolls) under my bathroom sink. When I want to soak my feet, I know right where my pan is! This saved me space and I used what I already had!

I also wanted to say, that I have an extension rod under my sink, I didn’t have a lot on it, but it kept falling down no matter how tight I’d make it.. then I bought a stronger rod.. that worked but eventually that fell too. For a helpful hint with that idea, I got two small pieces of wood, maybe one inch by one inch, if that, and glued one on each side under the rod... it’s held up for about a year now, I can even put full heavy spray bottles on it!
