They're the reason that album did as well as it did, along with the hype The Game had with being in G-unit, bc the fact is at that time there wasn't anything bigger in Hip Hop than 50 and G-unit. 2nd: Dre only produced the beats for some of the songs on Get Rich or Die Trying. That's a big difference from 50 giving a ready made song on a beat with a hook already on it.

Game F'd up, because he couldn't get Dre to produce for him after he went at 50. So, ultimately he lost, because Dre could have given him multiple "The Documentary" albums. I do understand Game not wanting to get involved in the D Block and G-Unit beef, but when you down with the squad, you ride with the squad. Those are the rules. He also let Henchman play him as a pawn in Jimmy's beef with 50.

I don't think 50 was jealous, I think 50 was tire of the laziness. Yayo and Game mentioned it on a Podcast, 50 would tell them they are lazy. 50 was always about grinding, they were all laying back not caring. 50 gave up songs to Game to help him out. It was the same on tour, he told all of Gunit they were lazy. Yayo would say 50 always looking for the next big thing, going to the gym, writing lyrics, shooting his weapon, so on. When 50 got them the reebok deal, no one in Gunit was rocking the mercy, only 50. This lead to 50 losing his shit on them, he trying to create a brand and set his niggas up for success. Even Game mentioned it on a podcast too.

As a die hard 50 and G-Unit fan I was disappointed by this whole beef. Game came in hot and ran his mouth and burned a lot of bridges in the process. I got all 50, G Unit and Game's first album and still today I think it's his best commercial work BUT I don't think he would have had that shine if it wasn't for 50's and G- Unit stamp on him. If Game played his role a little longer he could have been up there but you can't keep running your mouth and lighting the torch and think you won't have backlash. I just can't believe this is still going on....50 making money and making shows and Game is probably the only one still talking about this... What’s sad about this is that if the game would have just checked his ego and himself at the time of the Super Bowl, and realize that there was also a reason why Xzibit, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, etc. also weren’t up there and just played it cool and if you look at the rappers, I just named everyone of them were congratulating Dre, Snoop, Em, 50 and Kendrick , if Game had just done that, and not decided to go after the three men who pretty much gave him his career (Dre, 50, Em) then he is in a totally different place today. Probably even a better place if he would’ve just congratulated them and kept it real. I love the NWA, family tree, and every rapper on it, including Game. But when you want to start cutting branches off your own tree, everyone’s going to look at you like you’re crazy. Instead of having an album with a couple of songs, produced by Dr. Dre, maybe even a feature from Dr. Dre, or other members of that NWA family tree maybe even 50 Cent and Eminem, he put out an album with like the top 30 or 40 rappers that are charting today and anyone with the brain can see the only reason he did those features was because he was wishing upon a star that the fans of those rappers, Wood Stream those songs. I would never say that game isn’t nice on the mic and I’m someone that has bought every album of his except for the last one, I just feel like I am helping reward bad behavior at this point. It wasn’t even a West Coast album. It was just whatever rapper he could get that is charting at the time. It’s sad because he and 50 had patched things up and if he could’ve just kept working on that relationship with 50, that’s the only reason Eminem really hasn’t done anything with him is because Eminem and 50 are loyal to each other and Eminem doesn’t go to features with people 50 is beefing with . This hypothetical album really could have happened and a Game album produced by Dr. Dre with features from Em, 50, Kendrick, Snoop, Kurupt, Obie, Crooked I,etc . Probably would’ve done some really good numbers too. Game has only himself to blame. If you look at his career every time this guy got a head he decided to burn whatever bridge to help him get there. If you start being known as the guy that is going to burn people the minute they’re done helping you, then you’re going to find yourself in the same situation Joe Budden is in. Nobody likes you, nobody wants to work with you, everyone knows if they do work with you. You’re going to be talking shit about them three months down the road and before you know it, you’re forced to retire to do a podcast because everyone in the rap game can’t stand your lying ass.

It’s important to mention that, in no way did Game compared his first album, The Documentary, to 50’s “Get rich or die trying”. Both are masterpieces but, Game, couldn’t go toe to toe with 50’s first commercial album. Not only did 50 sell most albums on his debut, but he changed Hip Hop and has not been as street and raw since his run. The ‘Massacre’ album is still at the top, showing 50’s body of work, conceptually. Game had ‘LAX’ album which proved his capability to show he did it without, 50. I believe when ‘egos’ collide, they’ll never see eye to eye on things. This is only about music talk. The other dark side is street which goes deeper and goes to show that, 50, can’t and never will trust Game.

The final straw was when Game refused to side with 50 in his beef with Jadakiss and Fat Joe. Now those dudes were on "New York New York" and that song was a direct diss towards 50. Why wouldn't you side with 50? That's called being disloyal. Did Mack 10 say he wasn't riding with Ice Cube when Cube was beefing with Cypress Hill? Hell naw, he rode with Ice Cube until the beef was over. Plus, 50 wrote six songs for "The Documentary." Four of them being singles. That's why Game's career was never successful as 50 Cent's career. 2004 was that year though. Leap year, Summer Olympics, Presidential Election, movies like Crash, Man on Fire, Million Dollar Baby, Collateral all released that year.
