“I’ve just popped out to get something to eat!”
One of the best punch- lines ever. When i first saw this on TV, no way in a million years would i have expected the end punch-line, it came completely out of the blue! A classic!
Granddad, go down the vets and see if you can get his dental records LOL.
'Grandad, go down the vet and see if you can get his Dental Records.
I love it when Granddad buys the canary in the pet shop, "I've never sold an emergency canary before"
“Grandad. Go down the vets and see if you can get his dental records. Sit down! Sit down!”
Lennard Pearce was a fine actor.
"Do you want a cup of tea?"
"There is no way in a million years that she is gonna-"
"When I woke up this morning he was dead" Classic!
She was an absolute stunna!
RIP Eva Mottley ❤️
shes very very good looking!
The way the all look at each other at the end 😂😂😂😂
"unless the other one had got a dimple on his chin and a beer gut no one is going to be none the wiser"
What spoilt it for me was the fact that considering they had been there all day, they hadn't really got any work done... and Corrine never even noticed.
"you want a cup of tea NO!!"
It's a shame Corrine wasn't in more episodes, the actress who played her died a couple of years later. I'm glad Denzil appeared more, him and Trigger were my two faves as well as Del, Rod, Grandad and Albert of course.
These were the best episodes, it was never the same without Leonard Pearce.
That canary would be in the great canary cage in the sky by now.
