ive been a console gamer my whole life. just got my steam deck a week ago. picked up L4D2 and the skyrim/fallout bundles. also got the Witcher 3 and all dlc( never played it) and ESO(base game) and finally i got helldivers 2. im enjoying the deck so so much! happy gaming everyone!

reminder to everyone with a deck or looking to buy a deck: non-supported doesn’t always mean it wont play on the deck. it just means it might take a little more fudging around to get it to work or literally its just that it hasnt “officially” been tested it.

Great advice!! I wish I knew this when I first got my deck. If you want to know for sure just google it. There’s a site specifically for it but I never remember what it is but if you google it you’ll come across it but the answers are everywhere!

Trails in the Sky FC+SC+3rd are on sale all the time for around $53 together and they are the best $53 dollars you can spend.

@vampbat The launchers worked 90% of the time on launch, but when it didn't, a simple Deck restart sufficed. However, the gamepad won't work unless you install a version of Proton specific to Dragon Age called DAI Proton. Once that's installed, everything works great at around 60fps (at least so far!)

The astrobot game is one I cant wait for.

Don't Starve and Don't Starve Together are both under $10. There is also a bundle with both games and a bunch of DLC.

Holy shit. My respect for this man has catapulted into the heavens. He knows his games inside and out, including ones that take hundreds of hours and others are lesser known indie masterpieces. 🎉

It surprises me just how meny games are in super playable states that just haven’t been verified yet, really worth getting the plugin protonDB badges as it’s tested way more games than the verified system and is a much better idea of how playable a game is, like it list games that steam says are playable as poor or unplayable and it’s right so I trust it more than the verified system.

So many good Indies work well on the Steam Deck!!!

please, PLEASE, if you only get 1 game/bundle off of this list pick up Mass Effect. It's one of the best pieces of Sci-Fi media in existence

It's funny to see people who use to cover consoles moving to steam. On console these lists are "10 games for less than 10 dollars" on steam it's "10,000 games for less than 5 dollars"

The dishonored trilogy is available in the fanatical diamond collection. All three for essentially $5.

Surprised to not see the Ori games ( beautiful platformers) on the list , both are under 10$.

Remember that Mass Effect LE has a bullsh*t online-only DRM. I found this out to my cost after trying to play ME2 on a plane on my steam deck.

Monster hunter world and rise are also on sale for less than €10 (in the netherlands at least) and they both run great on steam deck!

The Witcher 3 is for €3, amazing deal just need a little tweak to run it 45 fps on deck but with 90hz it feels pretty smooth

The only thing id say is even for games that say unsupported on steam deck, look them up and still give them a try. Theres plenty of games that will say unsupported but run better then some that say playable tbh.

@@KevinKenson haha facts!! Honestly if they don't really work too well, nothing proton can't fix. I love my steam deck and I'm def gonna have to peep in a bit which games I have still installed that are unsupported but play great.

Yakuza 6 runs good on it. Its just unsupported because of one minigame but aside from that the rest of the game runs pretty good

If Ps vita 2 comes out I’ll say GOOD BYE FOREVER to my STEAM DECK
