The fact that they didn't try to resuscitate Clarke Gable, could've been his decision. He was madly in love with Carol Lombard and never got over her death.

Three other actors were left off this list-Shemp Howard of the Three Stooges fame died of a massive heart attack on November 22nd, 1955 while on his way home from a night out with two of his cronies. Harry Einstein (Parkyakarkus) dropped dead of a sudden heart attack on November 24th 1958 after roasting Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Einstein had just returned to his seat on the dais when he suddenly slumped over onto Milton Berle's lap in front of a live audience. And William Frawley is another. He collapsed and died of a sudden heart attack in front of the Knickerbocker Hotel in Los Angeles March 3rd, 1966, a week after his 79th birthday, and had to be drug into the hotel lobby by the male nurse who was with him.

Heart attacks and strokes are easily preventable with Vitamin E. E is an antioxidant that keeps one's body living longer. It clears one's veins/arteries and also also prevents wrinkles. One cannot take too much. I'm 60 and think I could easily pass for a 45 y/o. Ive never dyed my black hair cuz of Vitamin E. I take 2800 I.U.'s. My condolences to those who have had their lives cut short from arterial ailment. 😊

RN here. Where’s your double-blind studies in peer-reviewed journals? In other words, unless you’re a nurse or in any healthcare field, stop purporting to “know” this is true. Without rigorous, controlled research under strict parameters can this be proven. The phrase in healthcare is EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE. Where’s the PROOF, the articles in medical journals? And by the way. Vitamin E is great, but it can cause unforeseen bleeding in the doses you are recommending. Do we all need more of it? Yes. But it’s FAT-SOLUBLE. Most known vitamins are WATER-SOLUBLE. Only four we know of are fat-soluble, meaning they’re stored in body fat. Water-soluble vitamins excesses get flushed out through urine. Fat-soluble do NOT. Vitamins A**D**E**K are the most prevalent fat-soluble vitamins. It’s your body, of course- but I’d exercise caution if I were you. And yes. I’ve seen overdoses of Vitamin E with blood pouring out of the eyes, noes, ears etc. Not to be trifled with!!

Interesting stuff. Cannot see the relevance of focus on Clark Gable above others. He was known to be bisexual and had bad breath - which is well recorded. Nothing against him being bisexual but his actresses who played alongside him apparently could not stand him. Apparently (according to research) he was arrogant and just stank of alcohol and nicotine most of the time. To be fair, probably similar for both actors and actresses at that time.

I'm pretty sure the main reason out of so many reasons that these actors die of heart attacks is they are so focused on their careers and all the money that goes along with it that they forget to get a checkup with a good DOCTOR. With all the money they have l am sure they can afford the best medical care for their health. but like I said before they focus first on success and money. Look what happens. 😢😢😢😢

Not totally true. RN here. There are recent research studies proving most heart disease and cardiovascular diseases stem from GENETICS. After studying many people for decades, it was proven only two things affected your risk: GENETICS. And exercise. Statin drugs (for high cholesterol) really only cause a slight change in cholesterol totals. These drugs can raise GOOD cholesterol (HDL), but really do nothing for BAD cholesterol, (LDL). The only thing that lowers LDL numbers is….EXERCISE.
