Top work. Looks good, getting there! Where do you get your manhole cover grid from? Only bit of advice/constructive criticism is if you had made the patio 200mm of so smaller in width at set-out you wouldn't have that small cut at the front, its not too bad but with brick bond style it really stands out as all the slabs are the same size and not random. You should definitely do a drawing in future to work out the slab layout before as i think it can really let a project down sometimes. If you can't change the dimensions I'd definitely opt to either share the difference at the both ends or have it against the house side, more cuts but you've got the tools for that. Again, looks good and is coming together nicely!

I haven't laid much porcelain slabs myself used to lay a lot of natural stone before fracturing my back haven't touched a slab in 2 years. Why are you using screed and not like a 5 in 1 wet mix say for instance??

Hi - I have a sunken patio and am researching how to relay one myself. Why are you using dry mix? On other videos you lay slabs on wet. How are you grading your fall without string lines?

I'd love to say another week. We've got the lower level patio to do, the venetian-style fencing to put in, rendering to do, lawn maintenance etc We're getting there!

Why isn't the patio falling the other way? Surely you can get rid of the ugly acos with the slim ones one slab from the end of the patio? Looks banging though, just thought I'd ask?!

It has cement in it so it will harden 👍

Wouldnt some kind of marker on stone be appropriate to show theirs a grid. For future generations and in case theres new home owners in the future.
