I remember writing 2 gygabites of BL fanfics in japanese on my phone. what a way to get through N3 grammar. Wish i still had them, but at the same time im glad the content of those fanfics will never see the light of day again. its probably better that way.

This upload is testament to your dedication and commitment to learning Japanese. I absolutely admire that. I am a Japanese native and expat living in Canada for 16 years. I totally forgot how to write Kanji (I can't even write "library (toshokan")" in Kanji now from disuse). Those notebooks you use to teach yourself Japanese are amazing! Any plans for June? Another visit to Hokkaido? Or going somewhere for hydrangea viewing? All the best to you!

Love both the video, and the overall progress you've been making! Keep living that dream! But one thing that's been nagging me about the (written) Japanese language. Is there room for individual handwriting styles? It just seems too specific to allow for that. Might not see you at your show appearances, but I'll definitely be waiting for the next video!

There are styles, but its hard to tell them apart when you aren't native I think!

That's so cool, do you ever use a recording app on your phone record yourself saying the vocabulary word?
