Fantastic video Alex I wanted to stop and comment straight alway when you played the singer, I can see you enjoy it and me to even though is the cheapest one in the range it sounds fantastic, and seeing you sitting there playing it I think you where at one with it with the size as it is slightly smaller than the moon bird and the sound it was giving you back, the moon bird range is just fantastic but if you had one the singer gives you the other end of the spectrum, so for me who has a lion I would also want a singer and probably that one because it’s so worth the money and it’s the only ukulele I see myself getting next

The UT5K, for sure! For the looks AND the sound. The UT214 sounds amazing too. My least favourite one would be the Singer.

I have been playing the LION for the past 3 years, love the tone...I'm eyeing the Moonbird now

My UT5K has the Moonbird headstock with the Gotoh tuners. Guess there was a batch made with the wrong (not wrong) headstocks. It’s gorgeous to look at and to listen to. I also love the Cedar Bird.

Got myself a Moonbird a few months back and I love it. The pronounciation of these things is just marvellous. Did restring it after a bit though as the blackwater strings are very high tension and that becomes a tad too percussive for my personal taste when played with a bit of nails

@@chrislucero1824 Clear Water for a bit and then Worth Clears as those are my absolute go to Strings. Both worked great for my taste :)

The cedar bird is calling to me as well oh ukulele acquisition syndrome is calling.

Still thinking about a moonbird

Anuenue really are nice ukuleles I like the variety of tone woods the sound and look really great value equal or better than entry level Hawaiian made ukes in my opinion considering some of the bling bindings,cut aways, rosettes, choice's of woods and in some cases bursts you have the greatest inventory so many higher end ukes the singers nice old school look simple good episode today

Similar for sure! I prefer the finish on the singer and the case myself... I also prefer the headstock on the singer and how it makes the instrument feel less clunky on first position chords. 🙂

In your outro when you briefly play each instrument... I don't understand the remarkable single note picking definition and true note clarity coming from the Singer? That backed simultaneously by your sweet and warm vintage mahogany strumming is remarkable. Typically mahogany loves the warm strum, but the single note clarity not so much. This Singer is like 2 ukuleles in one, eh?
