Hey Scott been watching your awesome videos for a while now. I had a question about my wife’s car?. It’s 2008 Honda Civic lx it recently blew a radiator I replaced it bled it then I went to refill the ac and suddenly the car started bogging and I would hear this clicking noise like the condenser would cut on and off and the car would bog down almost to shut off and i can hear ac spray out almost sounds like it’s purging

Bought a 2012 Acadia SLT new. I drive it maturely and change oil every 5000 miles. It’s got 150,000 miles and original brakes, 5 mm front and 8 mm rear. Trans fluid drained 3 times. Water pump went out at 125,000. Aligned once because right rear tire hit curbs, (my fault). No fluid leaks ever. Brake fluid changed twice. AC blower went out at 130,000 and AC door actuators about the same time. GPS went out 5 yrs ago. Power steering fluid changed at around 100,000. Arizona car, no rust. Paint perfect, garaged. Was an UBER car for around 9 months. Front struts starting to weep or seep, they should still last a lot longer the way I drive.

Scotty - Many years ago, I was second in line at one of those automatic car washes. The guy ahead of me pulled his Ford Ranger in and the wash cycle began. As soon as the brushes passed over the bed of his truck, I hear this loud, rapid-fire "WHAP...WHAP...WHAP...." - it sounded like the beach landing scene from 'Saving Private Ryan'. The guy put the Ranger in drive in flew out of the car wash like a rocket.... then he jumped out of his truck and ran over waving and yelling at me "DON'T GO IN THERE!!!!!" I got out to look and the guy's truck had hundreds of dings and paint chips all over it. It looked like it had been shot with a huge shotgun! Unfortunately, he had had a length of baling wire in the bed of his Ranger - the brushes picked it up and it beat the hell out of his truck...... That convinced me to use only brushless car washes....... BTW - Love the vids...

Car washes scratch terribly. Back in 2005 I bought a brand new stainless steel sided refridgerated semi trailer. The shine was amazing. I took it through a Blue Beacon truck wash just east of Reno and told them NOT to use the side brushes, but they did. They dulled the shine by 50% with those brushes because of the abrasive dried-on hard water deposits. So much for my pride and joy.

Then my mother caught wind of it and said I would not be allowed to buy a convertible as it wasn’t safe enough. Then my step father found a PT cruiser that I didn’t want, but my mom forced me to buy it because it was the only car in my price range in the area that she deemed to be safe enough.
