Amazing as Always
Thank you. Excellent tutorial
Great stuff! One shortcut I have found: instead of the ramp or range, using the Offset and Multiply properties of the image shader allow you to clamp values visually also. I think the range is the cleanest or most precise way to do this, but what I like about the method I mentioned is, fewer nodes!
Nice work,very useful,Thank you!
Very useful, as always.....
thank u great stuff
Nodes are very complex to me but your videos help me to understand the logic behind of them the more I watch. Ty
Arnold gang.
Hey Chad the Cinema 4d to Arnold Community has grown narrower each day Now taking up Arnold Entirely means learning it all by yourself they are little to no tutorials online or even Arnold to cinema users
Make more Arnold render tut please !
Amazing video. Really interesting and useful. Thanks Chad.
Your Ar shader looks amazing. I usually create shaders and drag in the instance of it, than use a map to blend those together in a Master shader. Sadly the displacement map does not work with instances, or Im missing something. I’ll try your topology instead :) Thanks
Hi, amazing tutorial, I've been using LAYER SHADER for the longest time, and only now I have heard that it is slower than MULTIPLE MIX SHADERS. How big is the difference generally? Thanks!
Sheesh that's amazing
I love the Cycles X!
Where do you get the texture ball?
can i use this method to reveal a emissive material that cast volumetric lights?

Hey Chad Ashley! consider making an Arnold all round course I will pay over $1000 for it.
❗❗Help❗❗ needed. Can anyone tell me how to do the following effect with Arnold? kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6J80ciMZZvUn6Q.html Thank you
Next time please use the old logo of Arnold, the solid angle version. Autodesk version is totally crap.

I agree. Old logo rules. But I didn’t want the vid to look outdated . 👍

It's worth it... 20 dollars would sort of be an insult to all the stuff they offer.
