Now anyone who does hang ten spacewalks is a legend, but dang I love anytime Gunther Mogelys does them, and the knee down spacewalks!

Real talk! So many variations out there! So good
Learning the standard spacewalk has been frustrating... i thought it would be easy! Just going to keep trying and hopefully will find that rhythm (and balance)
Thanks Mike -so happy to have you( and Sarah Park !)for best freestyle tricktips out there😀
Bro, just found your channel bc I wanted to see some footwork tricks and be impressed but lowkey you’re making me want to learn. I’m 18 and never skated before but it looks so cool 😅 Also man props to you for making these videos, this is high quality stuff you’ve been doing for a years and you’re underrated imo. Loving the vibes and the tricks, keep it up!
Thanks, Mike!

Thank YOU!
Currently 2 months of learning spacewalk and its variations. The set-up stance for fakie spacewalk helps a lot of getting the momentum to shift my body around vs. normal spacewalk. Another cool way to find balance and body movement easier would be to hold myself onto tall rail/ledge. This helps a lot even to find balance for hang ten wheelie and hang ten spacewalk
i need a trick tip on the spinning space walk 🙂. i never figured out how to get the momentum to turn it into a spin.

Just keep trying
Thanks, this is really cool! While my spacewalks are the earth that pulls me down Boom!
The 50/50 spacewalk is absolutely sick. One day (very very far from now) I'll be able to do them. Probably should learn how to do a regular one first 😁
haha always cool to see spacewalks, my favorite is still 360 space walks, always but theyre all cool
Wtf the flip to fakie spacewalk was insane dude
Thank you Mike. You inspired me to order my first freestyle board.(yutas pro complete from Waltz). I can’t wait to try something new and learn some new tricks. I have been skating since 2006 (started with street and I have been learning transition skating in my more recent years) but I never saw myself trying freestyle.. until now xD thank you for sharing freestyle skating. I look forward to this next skateboard journey!
Thank you bro you're the best spacewalker that I Never see 😜✌️
Nice Technique tricks!

As a mid-30s man who use to skate street 15 years ago, I’ve been watching your videos and now I want to get back into skating, but this time I want to learn freestyle! Great content Mike. Can you recommend what board size I should buy from Waltz to learn these types of tricks? I’m 5’11 and 160 lbs, and use to skate a size 8 deck when I would skate rails and ledges, but now want to learn tricks like this. Does a smaller board generally work better for space walks, rail flips, etc? Thank you and keep up the great content!!
Love this. Gonna try and really learn these, I seen someone do one to fakie and my mind was blown I can't even try them without powersliding. It's so fun trying to learn and figure these out on just a regular board. Does the board really make a lot of difference ? In 23++ years I don't think I've ever ridden or seen one in the parks 👀
Shoes 😍
Where do you find freestyle trucks?
What's the trick called where you keep your feet spread apart over both trucks and kinda like crab walk the nose pointing forward and then the tail pointing forwards but in a fluid motion as you cruise around. Kinda letting the wheels slide across the ground as you keep switching back and forth between nose forward and tail forward

Hmm, idk if I understand. Sounds like you’re figuring out out though
hi,started skateboarding 4 months ago, really loved the stuff on your channel, quick question is there a sweetspot in like "wheel hardness "for freestyling

Great question! I think It depends on the ground you’re skating on. I usually skate on smooth concrete and prefer 97a. Waltz makes a 93a wheel that I love for rough asphalt ground or slippery marble ground. I usually wouldn’t go softer than that
Would it be better to get a new set up to start doing more freestyle? Or would learning with the regular deep concave boards be about the same?
