Thank you Maha! So useful videos, I can't stop watching them! I'm Russian teacher and i have many Arabic speakers in my class and I now I can understand some mistakes they do learning Russian. By the way, we also don't have the verb to be in the present tense and we negate in more than one way :)
You are such a wonderful teacher. I can’t wait to watch all of your lessons.
I am Arabic but I am for a weird reason watching your videos and enjoying it!! 😃
Thank you Maha! 🙏🏾 Learning the many ways to apply negation to parts of speech in Arabic is very helpful.

There is also لم Lam for negation past tense. Lam Adros لم أدرس I didn’t study Lam Adh-hab لم أذهب I didn’t go Lam + Present verb = Negated past tense Arabic is such a rich language! Even though it’s my mother tongue but still it always impresses me with its structure! Thank you Maha 😃

Haroon Ahmad No, to negate a past verb you use لم like mentioned in the video ما درستُ ، ما ذهبتُ..

أذهب hère is present not past In past we don’t say أذهب we say ذهبت

Hi Maha I am a student of Arabic language and I must say I really enjoy watching your videos which I stumbled on just two months ago. Its very helpful you actually bring the language to life thank you so much! Just wondering I learnt to negate future using LAN لن the verb following it becomes mansoob not sure if you sound it in speech because the verb examples you give here seem to have sukoon. Thanks for your beautiful teaching teachnique

Maha , y'all this girl is an absolute angel. a legend. She will turn your life around. it's difficult to define happiness until you feel her presence. She will make you feel special. she will love you so deeply, you'll wonder if she's even real. She is smart like a jew and very beautiful in all aspects. will make everything better by just existing. she's the kind of person to make you feel worthy . :)))
Maha, you always amaze me with your Arabic lessons. It’s helped me so much and I just love your lessons. It’s one of the things I look forward to. But I was wondering, this is Fos7a no? I was wondering if these same negations can be used to negate in the Shami dialects? I know colloquial and MSA are very different even in some areas of grammar
Very gd I'm clear in negations
