Not to be a party pooper but that’s not true… Male bettas and sometimes females will make these bubbles called bubble nests. The male does that when they’re ready to mate. After mating the female will shoot her eggs into the bubble nest the male made and then the male will guard it. This said, bubble nests are NOT a sign of a happy betta, it’s a sign of a sexually mature betta. This is a big misconception in this hobby and is often passed on as misinformation. Betta fish will make these nests no matter if they’re happy or not BUT not all happy betta fish make these nests. These nests are not connected to their happiness. Sick bettas may also make bubble nests. Sorry to ruin the mood but you should know this if you’re a breeder. But I don’t blame you as there is a lot of misinformation online, even experienced betta owners may make this mistake. Thank you for reading and good luck with your betta. :)

Mine was like that, unfortunately he had some sort of disease that only showed about 2 weeks after I got him, I had him for about a month and then he passed away, he was awesome though

My Betta is super happy in his tank, did you know that bettas naturally live in areas of high vegetation in the wild so I include lots of live plants.

My betta is a good boy lol. I sometimes accidentally give him more than usual, but he just ignores it and eats what he usually eats

Yes, but that's just instincts don't mistake it and say that your Betta is happy because of that bubble nest It does however mean the Betta is sexually matured

Technically if the bowl is like a 5-10 gallon it’s okay to put a bettafish in there I still recommend a fish tank though

Depend on what disease your fish have, most common is lying on tank bottom , struggle when swimming or have ragged fin and tail

Guys don't feed your betta like this person is saying, you can still overfeed the fish in 1 minute, you can understand how much food to give to a betta by looking at their eye size , and usually it's the size of 2-3 pallets, don't give your betta more than 3 pellets

I can only get a 2.5 gallon at most My first tank was .5 gallon My fish only died because alot of roaches died in that tank cause I couldn't avoid them going to the tank It's roaches He got sick

Don’t get a new fish. The fact you can’t avoid roaches getting in the tank and your tank is WAY to small mean you are not equipped for a betta.

Don't put 2 male Betta fish together. You can put male and female Betta fish together. But in some case male and female can fight.so watch their behavior too
