one of the scariest things to me was going up against players with cleats that looked like they went to hell and back. i went up against a right wing in a game who had cleats that were held together by tape. scariest thing ive ever seen. i’ll never forget that dude

I taped my wrist when I played because I had a tight yarn bracelet that is hard to remove and put back on after each match so it served a practical purpose for me.
