    Thank you for a super awesome tutorial on business talk - you are so inspirational Celina, fabulous tips I too use in my salon. After being in the industry for over 10 yrs as a professional nail tech, I'm slowly learning the difference of knowing my worth & not feeling guilty providing top quality over cheap prices, as I see in chain salons pumping out clients. Thanks again sweetie - Tina, Gold Coast, Australia :)

    I'm a massage therapist and was just watching because I am a nail enthusiast. But I find all this advice applicable to my own business as well. In my industry we also tend to set our prices too low, run over time and not charge for it, work too hard by not refining our skills (wasting "product") and when I see people running Groupons for massage, I cringe. I agree with you 100%, those type of offers attract the wrong type of client - a cheap client who will probably not return. I charge a price at the high end of the market in my area and nobody blinks an eye at my price -- because as you say, I know my shit! And they can tell a world of difference between me and Massage Envy, so that's why they don't mind paying extra. Great video!!!

    Doing nails on other people can be "fun"?😵 *Plays X-files theme* A bit dramatic I know. Sorry about that.😆 Nail school really was just hell on earth for me.😒😥 I went to nail school last year in February and finished it in September. In the last couple of months I've finally started to enjoy doing my own nails again. The scars are gonna take a long time to heal on that ordeal. Awesome video by the way!😄💗

  • @charlottetaylor9867

    @charlottetaylor9867

    4 жыл бұрын

    Because it is a exothermic reaction of the gel curing causing a heat spike. If you have a low heat setting on your lamp use that. If your lamp doesn’t have one you can put your hands in for a couple of seconds, remove, repeat several times and then do a full cure after. You could also try doing thinner layers. Less gel, less heat

    In the States, the majority of nail shops are using smelly, illegal product. Truth is Point I'd prefer to hand over my hard earned money to a polished and professional woman (full make-up and exquisite nails), than a quick, assembly line shop. When one project professionalism in their outward appearance, people are more willing to pay more. Thanks for the video!

    Yes, Yes, love your videos on the videos, filming and editing. I'm one that can say I will click off a video in a sec if the tech or person is bla bla bla and I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. I'm out and moving on. They need to do homework and plan what they are talking about. I don't care how bad I want to see the nails. Another issue I have is displaying product. I have seen many shake, flip back and forth a bottle of polish so fast it made me car sick and never did get the name or product number. Please please Celina give them more hints. I think there are so many that do beautiful work but the videos suck. Just saying

    You know what... people SUCK! When you run a "special", there are always shoppers, these people jump from stylist to stylist to get the service as cheap as possible. Most women do not want to pay what a PERFECT-GREAT job costs. What destroyed the nail industry is oriental shops, they use cheap product, do not have clean tools sometimes and people think everyone should charge what those shops do.
