Hi Cliimie & Friends! Another Wonderful Video Climmie!! Yes, Yes, Yes! Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle! A gal after my own heart! I save boxes, packaging, All cardstock weight junk mail pieces, junk mail envelopes, padded mailers and Any Envelope mailer. Great idea for Lace Climmie! I'm going to redo my lace, wrap around, place neatly in a box. I currently have all of my rick rack & seam binding wrapped around cardboard pieces, placed in a box according to color~quick grab for what I need. I have never purchased chipboard~I use Recycled Boxes and other materials~ It keeps them out of the landfill and makes Wonderful Journals, folios, tags, pockets, stacked pockets and more! If thin, I reinforce with double layer of boxes, use Tyvek tape, cover in fabric or paper. Thank you for a Great Video Climmie! Making journals Doesn't have to cost a fortune! Look around your house! Before throwing in the trash, ask if there's any way you can use to recreate into something Beautiful~The answer is Usually Yes!

I don’t buy cereal or biscuits (cookies) but ask family, friends and neighbours to save them for me. I now have so many, I no longer need any more. It’s wonderful how happy people are to help.

Just wanted to say thanks for making the video 😊 I have made books/journals for a long time & it’s still great to be reminded of the resources we have that are better used in crafts than in a refuse pile. And I gotta say, I sort of love the idea of the safety pin instead of the straight pin, even if it wasn’t your intent. I have been stabbed a few to many times by those darn pins 😉

Hi Susie! You make a good point, it is a lot better than getting stuck with those darn stick pins! TFW💜

You could use the cereal box to make the base for belly bands as well. I have kept a couple of boxes that have the...what's it called, clear plastic windows in them to use as the cover and the window on the front. Sorry brain freeze moment! I love this video!
