Miriam Defensor-Santiago accepted the role of the last professor, but she dropped out to prepare for the elections. She was replaced by Odette Khan. Napakahusay.

Si Ms. Odette Khan and Sen.

All of those professors exist in real life. When I was in law school, when the index cards were being shuffled, our hearts would pound like drums for a whole 3-hr period. Then we would have this graded oral exam for a terror prof, and he would grill us alone with him one by one inside a room, and we are not even allowed to bring notes or codal. But all those were worth it. I'm a lawyer now and took the bar only once. Maniwala ka lang sa sarili mo and take every panggigisa as a challenge to be better everyday. 🙏

We had a law professor like the last lady before. Index cards are definitely terrifying. Nasa hallway palang sya parang dinaanan ng anghel buong klase. You won't even hear a sound of breathing or flipping of book pages. Kailangan umatend ng walang dalang notes or what because you need to come prepared and mostly you'd be the one talking the whole period. And our law subject can last up to 3hrs. Lolz those were the days.

Maaaring madalas harsh ang mga law professors pero dahil walang room para magkamali dahil kapag ikaw na ang abugado at magkamali ka, it could mean a big loss of justice, just because may nakaligtaan. This is an excellent movie. The cinema industry/tv show industry should be used a medium to make Filipinos knowledgeable while being entertained. There needs to be an elevation of ideals and an evolution of the way we choose what to consume.

Fast forward, here I am now, in law school, a freshman law student struggling while enjoying the study of our jurisprudence. Totoo ang sinasabi nila na the word difficult is an understatement. Mad respect sa mga magigiting nating abugado! This film truly influenced and inspired me a lot in taking up law despite the fear and limitations that I have.

Thank you for this movie, masasabi kong masaya naman ako kahit natatalo dahil gumagawa ako at lumalaban. Kasama ng paglaban ng mga taong walang sawa at pagod na sumusuporta at nagtitiwala sa akin ❤ Babalik ako sa comment ko na to as a CPA and when I find my calling ( masasabi ko kasi ito ang fave subject ko nung undergrad namin baka masaya din ako sa practice ng law ) , gusto ko maglaw school habang nagwowork .Madami ng nakaya at Kakayanin ko din ❤❤ There maybe full of pain and sacrifices but it will be worth it 😊 Love lots and God bless.

Strict is not the same as rude. Criticism is not the same as verbal abuse. People can get PTSD from being shamed in front of other people. That high school teacher of yours was abusive and he tried to get away with it by conditioning your minds right from the outset to be okay with getting abused. And yes, being insulted is a lesson. The lesson being that you should report people like him to proper authority.

I'm aspiring Attorney here but I know what it feels to be in the class and with all the recits and terror professors who were attorneys, judges, prosecutors, and justice already... aaaah nerve racking indeed but it was really great to memorize every article sections of the law, penal codes and court appeals. Been a proctor for so many times in every examinations of the law students in one of the highly anticipated Law School in the Philippines.

@@ryanmantac that is true. Wala naman po siguro madaling course even when I was a nursing student way back years ago kahit napakahirap ng pagaaral ng course namin, it became fun to learn those medical skills and knowledge dahil sa mga cool professors and even kahit sa terror na din hehe tapos may great circle of friends ka pa na handa kang suportahan at tulungan at goal na magsasabay sabay kami lahat grumaduate at pumasa sa board. Now we are Registered Nurses 😊 But still I wanted to become an attorney too. Hehe

Make your own Case Digests and be sure to read and reread them before coming to class. Always back up your answer with a provision of law.
