Worth to mention Valentina Schevchenko vs Priscila Cachoeira. Granted, Valentina was coming of a split decision loss to Nuñes. But for Priscila, she MADE HER UFC DEBUT AGAINST VALENTINA 🤯 Might be the worst beating and mismatch I've seen.

Volk vs TKZ is the only ufc fight to make me shed a couple tears. After the first round he couldn’t even sit on his stool. He just sat on the mat next to his coaches and it was heartbreaking to watch someone’s heart and will break right in front of our eyes. Very sad moment and we will always love you TKZ.

Urijah Faber vs Petr Yan SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED either. Number 4 vs Number 12(I think it was?) and Urijah is like 44 or something. He was completely over the hill and the fight was a complete shut out. Whoever put on that fight should be sanctioned. BJ Penn vs Yair Rodriguez is another fight that should never have happened either. I figured this fight would make the list easily, but it's not here.

Actually at the time many people thought Ronda could beat Amanda because their styles. And Overeem was top 5 contender i think at the time so it was a good match-up just with brutal ending.

This shot would've ko'd everyone point black. That's why this knockout is so loved about. Not because Overeem was dead after this but because the strike was one of the most vicuous in mma history.

When it comes to getting KO'd we should definitely make a time frame the fighter must take to recover, because you got to add in the effect of a weight cut as well as a fight.. Let alone Bisping had his eye injury, I feel really bad he lost 1 eye completely and I hope he has good health with his other eye. Sight is everything. I couldn't imagine not being able to see. I'd go crazy.. I'd be so depressed. Like I'd need help mentally if I lost my sight.

@@harrytheman1000 The single victory wasn’t to some chump and he demonstrated pretty decent performances before that fight. Of course he lost to Ortega and Yair but his loss to Yair was followed by a two fight streak, and he demonstrated the veteran ability to take the fight to the mat against Ige after his loss to Ortega. The athletic commissions should not be blamed at all for thinking that a proven veteran could compete.

It's in correct to say Reem had a weak chin earlier in his career. He certainly got KO'd a number of times, but he also back then fought way more fights than 95% of other fighters, (while more importantly winning the vast majority of them). In not only his losses, but also many of his victories he took a shit ton a strikes that woulda KO'd damned near anyone, and yet brushed them off and kept fighting. It really wasn't until his fight with Bigfoot Silva where he then started to get put to sleep with ease, and even then it still wouldn't' be for a little while yet following that KO that finally he gained a widespread reputation for having a glass jaw. Seriously, go watch his fight in the mid to late 2000's at the end of his LHW, (aka Pride middleweight), and his first half dozen or so bouts at heavyweight, and you'll see he took plenty of decent blows to the dome that easily coulda ko'd him and yet didn't. Better yet, check out his Kickboxing during that same time period. You can't win the K1 kickboxing Grand Prix while going up against a number of the greatest kickboxers of all time and not be able to take alot of punishment.

Volk Vs Zombie was honestly scary. This was the only fight to make me shed a few tears. He couldn’t sit on the stool during the first round and it was fucking heartbreaking.

Kz is a legend. Guy sort of pioneered the zombie pressure style

Remember bisping saying hey i didn't really take any damage, just got choked, and thinking ye fair enough. Only rewatching the gsp fight a while later I saw he took some serious blows before getting choked

Tony vs Gaejthe should be here. Tony was the clear number 1 contender with a 12 fight win streak. He should have been given the option to wait for Khabib. Instead he took a career altering fight with Gaejthe, which he really shouldn't have done. One of the worst beatdowns I've seen.

Volkof V zombie i somewhat agree it was missmatched but only because the champ is just that damn good at the moment and makes most opponents look like they arent ready for the big time however Zombie is one of my top 3 favorites in the UFC he damn sure EARNED that fight.. ( other two being Conor and Izzy ) Like i said im not in disagreement but think of it in a slightly different way

I actually disagree with some of these fights being mismatched the results don’t mean the fight shouldn’t have been set up I do agree that putting the boxers first match against the best wrestler is just crazy as well as Rousey should have had a tune up fight before Nuñez. Agree disagree whatever this video is still amazing and well put together

I definitely see a flaw in calling the Volko vs Zombie fight something that should’ve never happened. It’s just disrespectful to the caliber that the Zombie is as a fighter.

Forgot Anderson vs uriah.. none of those fights after izzy should've been sanctioned imo smfh. I admire Anderson's willingness to play gatekeeper and be the first major/former champion test to an onslaught of dangerous young killers in middleweight contention. But he should've never been in there with those guys at that age, after everything he's done in AND FOR the UFC.

I think it's awesome that Bisping got to the Hall of Fame but when questioning DC Cormier he said he didn't believe that Robbie Lawler deserves to be in the UFC Hall of Fame Robbie Lawler has been fighting since he was 19 20 years in UFC probably had over or at least 40 fights and was the UFC champion so if you ever get the chance to get in there he should be first-round ballot Hall of Famer, for sure!

What about Johnny Hendricks vs Paulo Costa? He won only 1 fight out of his last 5 when he fought the undefeated Costa. On his last fight too

Nunes wasn't too good and too skilled for Ronda. Ronda wasn't surrounded by a good team but rather by yes men who never coached her properly.

Cowboy vs Conor comes to mind. Others like Ray Borg vs Mighty Mouse and Joe Benavidez vs Figuereido 2 are good examples. That last one was terrifying to see what happened to Joe B

Personally I don’t agree with the ngannou v overeem one. U could say that about any ngannou win. But overeem was the 1# contender and ngannou was on the rise and even leapfrogged like 10 spot in the ranks to fight overeem. It was the perfect matchup imo

The Champ Volk asking the Challenger Zombie if he was ok to continue because the difference in skills showed, the result was apparent and he was getting unnecessary punishment as the fight continued was a class and scary act of mercy. But Zombie himself wanted to go down fighting, it's the only respectable way one should go in this sport. As gruesome as it may seem. Tough warriors of a tough sport.
