My 15 month old son says no words besides Dada which is not said directed toward his father. My other twin tries to copy sounds even though he is unable to actually say them, just the humming sounds associated with the sounds made. My 3.5 year old had speech delay for 2.5 years. At 21 months old he only said 3 words. He now is echoing and repeating scripted/learned language along with some functional speech but struggles during overstimulation and when hes overwhelmed he displays meltdowns and cannot or will not tell us or point to what he wants. It's very difficult for him. My eldest son will be evaluated for autism next week. Thank you for helping us to understand the different speech disorders. I am very worried about my twins and want to help them so much, but they are not progressing with speech and other milestones. They are not learning it seems and I'm worried that my one twin could possibly have something wrong with his brain because of his premmaturity, RDS,pneumothorax, breech extraction and c section. They are severely delayed and we cannot get the help due to the pandemic. Any help as to how to help my babies would be so helpful in the interim.

I use to slur my words. And I was in speach class for years. I grown out of it but when i get mad it sounds bad

What is the problem when my 4 year old speaks and stretches the word/ ending when talking and always with a yehhhh at the end...

School called my Dad to tell them I might have a speech disorder Dad said Nah youse guy's Evera tink we's might be from Boston?

I have a stutter at 16 years old
