Love your videos bro, should have listened to your advice a few years back. I’m a native Texan, make a decent income, but bro… I don’t have much debt, but I can’t get in a house for less than 45-50 DTI unless I just leave the Austin area. I know alot of things play into effect, but I feel shut out of buying a house.

Picked Highpointe for all the reasons you mentioned. Hoping that the 290 expansion will retain what i like about Dripping Springs while giving better access to Austin.

There are 2 great little neighborhoods in 78737 called Ridgeview and Granada Hills. Still in Austin ISD, but has really low property taxes. When 290 construction is done, those neighborhoods will get the best of accessibility to Austin and peace and quiet of Dripping Springs.

Paloma Lake was tough a few years ago to sell. I can look into it. I have a few listings that have hit the market recently. It’s been interesting. Homes under $500k are selling faster than those over.
