Hi Froyle, I love this, it's beautiful, love the colours. You're an inspiration and your upbeat enthusiasm is so infectious. I'm just at the tail end of mild Covid and haven't been up to much - but I'm going to start this tomorrow, thank you for giving me the boost I needed. For myself, I like having a dedicated place for all the the collages in a project so I have a journal for 100 Days 2022 and now another for 2023; I’m also working on mixed media projects in Wanderlust, inspired by a local group of artists. I’ll need to pace myself and allow myself to download lessons or videos to watch on my own schedule. I have a stash of papers left from last year’s project so I hope to use them up! I might also try aligning multiple projects… for example I’ve made a bunch of gel print papers in a color challenge so I might use them with my doors pages!

Bonjour, je vais suivre cette idée de 100 collages !!! Je fais un art journal dédié aux collages, car mon grenier ne peut plus supporter de toiles supplémentaires, j'avais laissé tomber le collage depuis une dizaine d'années....je me suis consacrée à de la peinture sur toile, et au mix-media sur art-journal, bien envie de fabriquer un journal spécial collage. Je découvre ta chaîne ; je m'abonne ta bonne humeur m'a entraîné et c'est parti !!!! Merci 😀 Anna (France)

You are so INSPIRATIONAL!!! I'm not great at COLLAGE. I definitely need way more practice. I got a book at thrift store and I want to make it a collage altered book. But I keep forgetting!!! So you've reminded me "again" with this video. So I will try to dig it out today, and get started on it. Even doing 1 page, or one 2-page spread daily is a perfect way to get my practice in. I am so excited for this! I have been looking forward to you doing another 100 days. I discovered your channel when you did the last 100 days series. It is so fun to listen to you and to watch you put your beautiful papers together. Your joy is contagious. Good luck with your move. I hope you will love your new space. I went on a trip to Ireland years ago, and I took many pictures of the doors there. They represent so many things, I’m glad you started with them.

Great start to this challenge. How do you get your collage pieces not to buckle up when gluing down? Some of my images will not lay smoothly.

I think it depends on the paper, sometimes mine buckle and sometimes my art journal curls! Lay a heavy book on it, on top of baking paper, so it doesn't stick, that should flatten it over night! Cheers Froyle

Hi Froyle, I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you! I’m having an issue where sometimes when adding tissue paper that I’ve gelli printed or stamped, as I push out the air bubbles, the paint smears. It’s acrylic paint and deli paper and it has dried completely before I use it. It’s not happening with all of them, just a few. Also I’m using the same mat medium you’re using. Any thoughts? Maybe it’s the deli paper? Does not happen with printer paper.

I’ve never used deli paper, but sometimes I find this happens with the spray inks! I try not to push too hard & work around it, sometimes it stains the paper next to it, so I wash my brush & keep going! 👍🏼 you could spray the paper with a spray varnish before you glue it on, that does help! 😘 cheers

Cath has great suggestions! Once you download them you can take them anywhere to print. I get them printed at different places, my printer at home is terrible! Cheers Froyle
