Nice discussion on cooling the Airstream. Keep in mind that the 20-deg temperature drop limit is from the inlet air to the evaporator the outlet air. Since your air conditioner recirculates interior air, it should be able to drop the temperature below 20-deg minus the outside temperature. If you can’t, you’ve probably just reached the power limit (in BTU) of your A/C unit. We are fortunate that our used 25’ 2021 International was ordered with the double A/C package which we can readily power from our Powerboost Truck (no generator noise) when boondocking. Thanks for the great idea! I’m trying to find where you ordered your drain covers. Found some on Amazon but they’re missing the center hole. We can drill them ourselves, but would rather not.

Love all of your suggestions. We bought the Reflective but how did you install it over the screens?

So you have two option for installing the reflectix with windows with screens. You can either install it from the outside by opening the window and placing it between the glass and the screen. The other option is to install it from the inside and placing it next to the screen and then pulling the window shade down to hold it in place. We have tried both methods. Hope this helps.

On our Airstream they just snap in. Easy to remove.

We tried to remove ours and it seemed like the cover was on there pretty tight. I was afraid we were going to break something.
