There is a very important detail about aerial setups that people usually forget to mention and that detail is holding down the air roll button when hitting the ball in the air, that cancels the recoil effect that takes place on your car after an aerial hit.

another underrated tip that no one else seems to be paying attention to practice SIDEWAYS aerials too, not just forward or backward aerials in match situations, not everything is gonna go right and there might be a time when your aerial isnt perfectly backwards or perfectly forwards. there are also moments that might make your aerials go diagonal instead of forwards, backwards, or sideways, but being able to master sideways aerials alongside forward and backward aerials makes it easier

I cannot tell you how much the "two step aerial" process has improved my game immediately and drastically. At first I was taught "Don't rush your aerials or you'll mess up," then I got to Gold/Platinum and was told "Go full-speed so you always hit the ball first." This method though is helping me so much and I'm hitting the ball near its apex with solid direction and power for once. Thanks so much...!

"Start going for them" is probably one of the best tips, for life in general.

Been trying to help raise my friend's skills in the game and I've always told them I will never be upset if they miss a touch or shot on net so long as they just GO out of their comfort zone and TRY to read that wall bounce. They don't see it but over the weeks they've been getting closer and closer. I always reference these kinds of videos to help give them the visual aid that I sometimes can't provide through my own replays quite as well as Fluump. Keep it up man!

Just used an alt account for the first time in 4 years. My main account has held steady at d3 d1 in 3s. So I played all placement matches and hit c1 d4. I have never hit champ, and the games are easier than my other account at diamond? I’m not mad, I’m just happy I can say I hit champ finally. Haha good luck everyone.

This does vary on where the ball is. If it’s like above me I hold down until I’m vertical. If it’s like at a 45 degree angle I hold down less

Guten tag :)

U explain what needs to be done, but not actually how to do it. Your explanation is linear and I don't see how these tips can help anyone do it practically, it definitely explains what i want to do but I've been playing since 2016. Im mid diamond rank and i still can't beat people to the ball and ajust my car in mid air.. Im looking for tips because im really frustrated, and having aspergers doesn't help and neither does this.
