That alpine and taiga comment is so true. Some alpine maps have rain instead of snow and some taiga maps have more snow than alpine. Kinda weird in my opinion

In my opinion, I disagree with Tropeognathus because I more associate it with the desert. I also think the Dominion Giganotosaurus and the Yutyrannus fit well

I think this video came out before Yutyrannus, but why I didn't include Theri is a mystery even to me 🤔

I think the new Yutyrannus (and Sinosauropteryx) is perfect in this biome as well. The Yixian formation it was found in had cooler temps, and may have used its feathers to stay warm (if not display, such as like JWE2's vibrant skins and patterns for it). Edit: Albertosaurus and Edmontosaurus are also on my list for Alpine/Taiga dinosaurs since they can help represent some of those Alaskan dinosaurs, alongside Pachyrhinosaurus, and Troodon.

Do the placable trees count towards the dinos need for forest? Not being sure of this is why ive never tried it.

It's said that they should, although I never tried it, since I am only building in Sandbox with the needs turned off 😄
