Well I think that has to do with him first waking up after he was fully healed like sometimes after I wake up in the morning I’m still half asleep and I have trouble walking when I first wake up and I bump into things and I think it’s a situation like that he was unconscious for a good bit and got fully healed and just needed a few seconds to adjust to everything if that makes more sense

To anyone saying Spidey got nerfed in him and miles vs Rhino,he got ran through multiple explosions from a rampaging Rhino and then also slammed away and getting that electric shock thingy.And he can't win everytime either. It's impressive he survived all that actually

That is impressive, but in the first game he had no trouble beating Rhino AND Scorpion at the same time, it is strange that here he couldn't stop him despite the insane arsenal of gadgets up his sleeve. His webs can stop trucks and hold literal tons of weight, a simple web bomb to Rhino's feet should've stopped him. An easy fix for this inconsistency would be to make it so that Peter throws Miles off of Rhino before they rush into the gas tank to save him, which would then result in the explosion that knocks Peter out, instead of Peter being knocked out by Rhino, this also improves on the narrative not just by making it more consistent, but also now Peter saves Mile's bacon directly, but Miles is also there to return the favor and it's also much more impactful emotionally to Miles as a character where his mentor almost died trying to save him.

@@ethansmith4503 actually he was, when he fought sinister six, he also barely had any sleep after that and went right into it with broken bones and if i remember correctly before fighting socrpion and rhino he also fought electro and vulture all the while not having any sleep and being beaten up by the whole of sinister six, not to mention he was poisoned by scorpion not long before that as well.

The whole rhino situation at the beginning of Spiderman Miles Morales is freaking good. That is the best way to start a game. It establishes the main character, setting, the villians (roxxon) and important story factors such as Miles Venom Sting. All contained in awesome action with multiple great set peices. Capped off with an amazing boss fight with rhino

@@Mrsplifferdoodle considering the other comments, it was all based on the scenery, Rhino took advantage of the fact he could handle explosions a lot better than Peter, due to his armor, and even then, he was still semi-conscious and could possibly still fight against Rhino if Miles was not strong enough. Also, you can't win all the times can you?

What's crazy is that spiderman doesn't go all out ever he actually fakes getting hit by villains and holds back his punches because in an alternate comic when doc oc took Peter's body he broke scorpions jaw and when he got hit by thugs the thugs hand broke

Edge of time had one of the best storylines

A lot of people really underestimate how powerful Peter Parker Spider-Man really is. Not only was he pretty powerful from the get go but as Spider Totems age (technical name for human-spider cross species chosen by the Spider-Gods, yes... I know) they continue to mutate and become more powerful over time. As Peter Parker is the main Spider-Man and a receptacle of The Other (one of the Spider-Gods) he is the most powerful of the Spider Totems.

I know the theme was kinda the "everybody needs help even spiderman" thing, but in my opinion it felt like he was getting severely injured way to often in the insomniac game. I understand that he is still human and he gets hurt from time to time but he gets saved so often that its kinda hard to believe that he was spiderman for 8 years without being killed at some point

To be fair, In the first one, Peter was slapping everyone around, until he was stung by Scorpion’s tail, since wearing him. In the second one, he was weakened, and tired from fighting Martin Lee, and he wasn’t even trying to throw hands with otto. He was just trying to escape with the cure. And the third one, was just Rhino running into an explosion. All in all he hasn’t ever had to fight the villains when they team up like that.

I think the point in the first game was that the stakes were higher than they’d ever been there- Peter hadn’t experienced a disaster at that scale at all. Peter clearly does have a lot of close calls, too. MJ makes commentary abt how often Peter has nearly died since the very beginning. The Sinister Six fight is kind of the beginning of the second to final chapter of the game, and story wise they want it to be clear that the gloves are off. Peter HAS to get beat there as well, because otherwise the Sinister Six isn’t going to get off Ryker’s and enact Doc Ock’s plan. Later, Peter gets taken out by Doc because he just got finished fighting Mister Negative and was distracted by the cure, while also having been stopping fights in the streets and the rest of the Six while having 14 broken bones still. He was not at the top of his game in the slightest. Then Doc slams him around like a wet towel and stabs him with his claws, and Peter gets put out of commission. That scuff between the two is also partly a battle of will, bc that cure is the culmination of both Doc and Spidey’s goals, and Doc won out at the time. Peter doesn’t even know Aunt May is sick at this point, he’s tired, he’s frustrated and distracted, perfect storm. Peter is at his tankiest when he’s angry or desperate, and he really hadn’t reached that second wind yet by that time in the story.

Stan wouldn't be disappointed. Peter has died multiple times throughout the comics. That's one of the main reasons Miles becomes Spider-Man (in the comics, not the 2020 game) they probably won't kill Peter yet, but considering Miles is now in the games, and Norman Osborn is notorious for becoming the Goblin, everything lines up, and Insomniac could definitely pull off killing Peter. Spider-Man would still be an ongoing game series tho, since Miles could take the mantle. Plus they could just move to a completely new universe or alternate reality. Or time travel like in Edge of Time. But I wouldn't expect Peter to die any time soon. I'm sure Sony executives are bathing in money from both Miles & Peter's Spider-Man games.

I feel like that spider man edge of time is one of the best games in the series in my opinion. ( I got the game I think sometime in 2013 for my Xbox 360, and I still play the game on the Xbox 360 360 to this day, it still is one of my favorites!)

spider-man almost died in the miles morales one because miles got ahead of himself at least the man made up for it by saving the city

I honestly was scared when I was little when I saw spiderman crawling away from danger instead of facing it head on and white venom grabbing him, like dang fr killing off my fav character

I’m sad, because I never got to really play edge of time because the disk I had was a pre owned one and it sucked and I kept getting stuck at the part where 2099 has to fight Anti-Venom. I’m gonna have to watch the story without playing it 😞

Imagine the first few games done on the level of the PS4 Spiderman and Miles Morales. Would be too sick.

Edge of time is such an underrated game! Man I should replay it someday... it’s a really good game!

In edge of time i actually thought spidey was dead for the entire story but turns out i was wrong cuz 2099 spidey had a resurrection machine i guess

You can just tell the difference from edge of time/shattered dimensions to Spider-Man ps4 2018 It’s a massive difference

Why was edge of time a kind of horror game

You can’t consider edge of time because he actually does die. They just bring him back with future tech

I like how it added super painful scream also we’re not gonna talk about the fact that the rhino looked like a truck in the hole
