That ajax game was a disgrace.
My own personal favourite that I went to was the Milk Cup [League Cup] Quarter-Final away at Hillsborough, Sheffield Wednesday vs Chelsea. 3-0 down at half-time, into extra-time and it goes 4-3 to us, until, with his last touch of the game, our mad Scotsman defender, Doug Rouvie, a sheer carved from pure granite beast of a man, gave away a penalty, so needless, so utterly pointless, that to even begin to explain it would require a whole team of forensic psychologists and 14 years to reach an outcome. Last kick of the game, from the spot; Sheffield Wednesday 4-4. Big piss up, again, on the way back. Massive ruck at, again, Crew Station. No heating on the train. Got back to Kings Cross around 5am. Fuck but I miss the good old days.
Gotta do a bit better with the cuts bro, this is all over the place, no hate just tryna be constructive :)

Oh absolutely the Vicenza 2nd leg. That terrific save by big Ed and then huge kick towards Sparky and BOOM! Bedlam in the stands. The noise that night was incredible. So glad we did them at home. I'd gone to the away 1st leg at theirs. Went with the clubs official package of flights and match ticket. Rip off but even though we lost 1-0 and it pissed down the entire match, we didn't give a flying fuck. Ransacked their gift shop after. Saw some beer monster wearing a Vicenza shirt, labels still hanging off of it but clearly about 6 sizes too small!! It was yours truly who stood up in the plane and shouted, "I am Spartacus!"
