lol she didn't kick him, he was trying to rip the wrong doll out of her hands and her leg went up during the commotion. Not her fault he had her basically pinned down. She then realized before he did that it was the wrong doll, and she grabbed the correct one before he could. If anything he assaulted her.
Brett was so proud of himself for that as well she should have been. Top notch.

Boogie actually lost Otev cause he threw it to Janelle so she could assault James and win Veto.
I’m surprised that Johnny Mac wasn’t on this list when there was a competition with a puzzle where you have to assemble on a magnet and a timer counting down. You reset your timer by going back to the button and pressing it. If it reaches zero, the board demagnetized, and another countdown would start until you get eliminated. Johnny Mac assembled the puzzle off of the magnet allowing him to just go back and press the button before he got eliminated rather than before the board demagnetized, essentially giving him more time.

You missed the stay/fold competition from BB18, when Nicole (who already had 2 points), Michelle and Corey "stayed" for a round. Here, Corey "stayed" with them, but with a ridiculously higher number. This was to serve as a safeguard in the case if Nicole lost to Michelle, preventing her from getting eliminated, as she only had one point left anyway. And it worked! Michelle won the round and Corey was eliminated instead of Nicole. The next round, Nicole then beat Michelle, gaining her third point, and won the POV.

This is the video Michael and Brittany were discussing on the live feeds in BB24! You're influencing the game Peridiam!
Hey Peridiam! I'd LOVE to see "The Road to Victory for Every Big Brother Winner", just like your Survivor videos!!! 😀 I'd imagine a few examples could play out like the following: 1) Maggie manipulating Howie's HOH to target one of his own allies, thereby forming the beginning of cracks with the Sov 6 2) Andy's ability to maneuver through alliances and drop connections when the time came for it 3) Rachel's competition prowess (..well, and that questionable veto competition at the final 6...), etc etc. As a true superfan of the show, I'd LOVE to see this in a mini series with multiple parts! Love your content! ☺☺

Weird to consider it a comp hack, but Caleb not helping Frankie control the thing, turns out it was easier done by one player
@muffinwhale

this is kinda funny but based on a firsthand account imo is all production interference. zach rance did a live with kat dunn on ig and he said caleb decided not to play with frankie before finding out what the competition was (this was due to the fallout from something involving frankie, can’t remember what it was though). apparently production had a different competition set up but then changed it to the one we saw them play in. when they got to the veto caleb saw that it was a competition that was easier to play as a single player than it was to play with two people. caleb then said oh man ok i’m gonna play now but production wouldn’t let caleb, as he apparently already pre said he wouldn’t play, thus allowing frankie to win easily. not that it mattered, theytook him out soon enough. if you’re interested in listening to him tell it a recording of the live is probably floating around on reddit or youtube.

16:15 came back to this vid after Michael's OTEV win in BB24 just to confirm how great his strategy was. He started from round one, kept his pile both close by and somewhat hidden from the others, AND he took time in the middle rounds to gather ALL of the answers. I think this is what perfects the hack, as it insured he was in a good spot in future rounds. Anyway, love to see how vids like these are improving how players play the game.

@ramprat5812

A.J Deets Jackson was a huge threat for the majority of the game, in games like Big Brother or Survivor the big threats need to keep other big threats in the game to shield themselves. Jackson needed to get out players like Analyse and Jessica because the other players would also take out him over them. That’s why he didn’t go home on the double and why he won the game.
I’d definitely watch a part two
Great vid. High Quality footage, I dig it! Nice job.
Hi! I would be so interested to see your analysis of "reads" in Big Brother history --- famously good reads, famously bad reads (like maybe some of the ones we're witnessing in BB22 right now?), the qualities necessary for a BB player to have good reads and to actually use them, the elements of gameplay that go into reads and how they're used or not used. I feel like it's a concept thrown around when talking about good or bad gameplay but haven't really seen anyone break it down, rank reads, or analyze what contributes to them. Hope you're doing well and thanks for reading!
I am a Survivor and new to BB. I heard from Rob on RHAP that somebody just tried all the puzzle combinations to find the right combination instead of running around, and that guy won the competition.
Don't forget the time Johnny Mac hacked the final 5 veto comp in BB17 by doing his puzzle in the trough instead of the magnetized board. This allowed him 30 sec instead of 20 sec to complete this and his puzzle would never call down.
I love how I’m watching this intently as if I’ll be on Big Brother in the future

3:32 defense truly is the best offense sometimes. Also that there was strategy involved which by the way is absolutely brilliant.
Omg hide and go veto from BB20, made me laugh hysterically back when it aired. It was just...GENIUS!
You forgot about the false start strategy in BB19 that made Christmas win the HOH
@stefcoll2972

Christmas didn’t think outside the box to win that she just got Paul to convince everyone to throw it
YAAAY PERIDIAM UPLOADED!!
omg that egg yoke one was amazing, really mindblown.
It's hilarious how these contestants can outwit the producers. 🤣🤣
In BB17, Austin did the same defensive hiding strategy that James did in the hide-and-go-veto. He had a worse hiding place, but he came in second used that same strategy.
There’s another one similar to the previous one. In the classic spelling competition, you know like where words like Caltoru and Tectronics originated, in BB16 I believe it was Zach who came up with this. You can only take one letter at a time so he made hidden stockpile of letters that he could run to and take from anytime he needed. He didn’t win this comp, but I still think it’s a good strategy.
There needs to be a part 2 for this. You missed some good ones like Johnny Mac assembling the puzzle off the board and then assembling it in the board after he has it all put together on a veto competition so he didn’t have to worry about it getting demagnetized or balancing on the balance beam. And he would have more time to assemble it as well
This was my favorite video from you
Reminds me of my favorite survivor hack when Jay (millennials vs Gen X) mapped out the maze on the cage door and managed to get out quicker than anyone else and destroy the slide puzzle.
You should do a hack series for Taskmaster UK. There’s hundreds.
The otev hack seems like the only possible strategy in that competition
in bb 19 when they did the comp where they had to stand on the map of the house where they were when they heard a certain sound and whoever gets last gets put on the block and cody knew he was a target so he tried to get last to get put on the block so he could play veto but paul brought it up to his alliance and matt also did that so cody had a smaller chance of playing in the veto and ended up beating cody
Brett was by far my favorite player in BB only because of his personality
oh brett. we miss u. absolute goof
This was a good and fun video. If you can, please make another 5. Thumbs up. BB also needs to make new competitions and stop recycling.
The problem with the last "hack" is 1) You're spending more time than everybody else the first few rounds (in an effort to save time in subsequent rounds), so you may be out the first few rounds trying to collect the words. 2) Everybody has access to your pile. If they see you collecting words and putting it in a pile and they're faster than you, they can just run and take your words after all of the hard work you put in. And 3) There's no hiding it. Even in the piles Mike made, people saw it. If you're having to hide it like Mark did, you spend time that others don't, digging and undigging it so it becomes undetectable.
I love in BBCAN4 when a Veto competition relied on both performing certain physical challenges well and betting on the right person to gain points, Jared, a comp beast threw a competition, knowing the rest of the players were going to bet on him winning.
I hated Brett watching the season but now looking back on it he was an amazing player so props to him
I always loved waiting to see who sounded dumb at saying Otev was like musical chairs
Thank you for noticing the musical chairs line
The OTEV game reminds me of some game I use to play as a kid but I can’t remember which one....
Shaking the egg was brilliant!
My first thought was BB6 when James helped Sarah win the Couch Potato POV competition, similar to Diane’s POV win. Surprised that didn’t make the cut!
Okay I just want to say, my big brother experience has been ROBBED. Poor Janelle and Kaysar couldn’t make a single ally beside themselves, and the entire house was trying to get them.
James is my favorite when it comes to competition strategy’s
I don’t know if you have but could you do a bb video on Paul? He’s my favourite player
James also just thought it was funny to make a mess
I just watched the survivor one and was waiting for the big brother one
I’ll hack hide and go veto, I’m last to place my veto card, instead of taking time and looking for a spot, I hide it in my outfit and run back making the others think I hid it near the kitchen. Then I go into my booth, take out the veto card, flip it upside down and place it on the ground. They said look in the house however did they say the backyard is excluded? No, which means I can hide my veto card in my booth and win since who would think I hid it in a booth? The only downfall is if I walk behind, it might be obvious.
can you do the challenge?? i like the way you do your videos and i enjoy the challenge so i commented on a few of your videos!
i think Tom from BBCAN1 was the first to break the Majority Rules comp, instructing his alliance to pick “A” every time (and Tom himself won the comp)
no wonder the counting one didn't show up again
My first thought seeing this video: is this just a compilation of Brett yelling defense wins championships?
There was Tim/Cass/Joel's strategy in the Crave challenge in BBCan4 even though it turned out that Joel wasn't working with the other two
They should have a Famous KZreadrs edition big brother. I would watch that.
Hide and go veto is probably my favorite competition
I know you don’t cover The Challenge but those comps have been hacked in some cool ways over the years! ESP Johnny Bananas
Johnny mack with the puzzle before he got on the board in bb17 is definitely an interesting hack, and Paul getting everyone to drop out of the race in the right leg so that Christmas could win in bb19. A hack that never got accomplished but would have won the comp was Brendon in bb12, he took his shirt off and attempted to feed it through the elastic loop on the top of the hot dog so Rachel and kathy could hold the t shirt rather than the slippery hot dog to get across, and he was attempting it but Enzo wheeled him too fast over the grill. Speaking of Rachel, the small hack she made in the most imperative veto in bb13, to hold the straps above the dummy and wrap her legs around the dummy instead of her arms won her the comp, because everyone elses arms eventually got tired but she barely had to use her arms. I despise Brett personally lol but I love the hack of his you used, and I so wish Kat had managed to execute the stock pile strategy right. Great video!
Could you do a part 2 on the survivor and big brother I love these videos
Paulie & Frank in the final roadkill in BB18!
i LOVE jaysar as much as the next guy, and even though i want christmas to go (man thatd be amazing and hilarious) a part of me just wants kaysar to go and get it over with so maybe they the house will actually start playing the game!!
I wanna see you on big brother next season
I was thinking for the safety suite with the ball they could have thrown the ball across the room😂
I remember when Emmett from BBCAN1 hacked the toothbrush competition. They needed to brush grime off of “teeth” and he discovered that by hitting the teeth rather than scrubbing them, it works better. Funny enough, he told someone else about his strategy and got eliminated for cheating, not for his strategy but for helping others.
I have two that come to mind. The first is in the final 5 HOH endurance comp of BB9, where Sheila held on to the top of her box with her arms instead of just being perched up between the walls like everyone else. The second is BB14 the ship endurance HOH at the final 12, right after the coaches entered the game. Instead of just holding on to the bar with her hands, Danielle slipped her arms through and held on that way(apparently they were told not to do that but oh well they didn't penalize her)

For the hide and seek challenge I wonder why no one tried to slide it under the fridge or stove, everyone knows that anything that goes under there is gone forever 😂
I feel like a lot of these comps were broken and won't come back
