If you use a sponge during makeup application, instead of using plain water to wet your sponge, use your setting spray to wet your beauty sponge instead, it really helps to lock in your makeup layer by layer and you'll need fewer touch ups as well.

Billie Comeaux yes that’s a great tip! You can also dampen your eyeshadow brushes with setting spray to make them apply like a cream and then lock in place !!!☺️☺️🌟🙏🏻😉😉

I bought that Tatcha dewey skin mist. Your right about it helping with the makeup refresh. If anything starts to look cakey and dry, I can spray this on and redab with a moist beauty blender and my makeup looks fresh again.

This is so good to know about the KVD makeup and primer because her foundation is a force to reckon with. Once you get it with the application it’s a super makeup. KVD first products are never a let down.

It's definitely not kidding around being called Lock-It.

I just got back into wearing makeup everyday because I wanted to do a ProjectPan & I’ve heard of the lip liner tip in the past. My go to combo is the lip liner in Praline from e.l.f., the KVD studded kiss in Lolita, and the Too Faced (I honestly forget what the product is called since I bought it about 4-5 yrs ago & haven’t seen it anywhere since) in Pink Chocolate.

@@Sephora my favourites are 01 Always Red 38 Sweet Raspberry 07 Cherry Blossom (buh I cudnt get it in Sephora store a couple of weeks back) 25 Coral Sunset 10 Manderin Muse Last buh not da least No: 17 (dont kno da nane) The Lipsticks are so good, light weight comfy and above all it stays for almost all day along... its worth buying... I used to use Mac and Huda b4 buh now after using Sephora lipsticks... I am jus in Love 💕 wid it😍

Love sephora's videos. I just wanted to say I have wanted to try tatcha for a long time but the ingredient list alcohol and fragrance so I haven't. My skin reacts to strong active ingredient so not sure what to do or to ever use it.

Luv the foundation primer hack can’t stand Kat V D - can you do this w other products?

Wait - I thought you’re not supposed to bake or pack powder under the eye if your skin is crapey there. I don’t think this tip will work for everyone.

I think that's generally ok as long as they have the same base, ie, silicone based w silicone based, water w water, or oil base w oil

Noelle Carr some setting sprays can give a glow especially if they are illuminating or hydrating. If you find the one you use does this I’d say try a mattifying setting spray like Makeup Forever Light Velvet Air Shine Control Spray, it has powders in the spray so after you mist your face the powders work to reduce shine ☺️☺️☺️🌟🌟🌟🌟

Sephora The only ones I have, which I bought many times(same colors) are Nude, Pillow Talk, & Pink Venus. Looking to try more colors as well. I love them sooo much. I think they are the best. Even, if I feel like coloring my whole lips with them (something I never do with others), & just putting lipgloss over them, looks great. They are not drying, long lasting, just great.

Does the hydrating primer and matte foundation tick work for super oily skin?

Letitia Cofield I feel it does because often times over production of oil is a result of poor hydration on the skin so by using the hydrating primer it can trick the skin to slow down oil production and then the matte foundation can do the rest of the work 😉😉😉🌟🌟🌟🌟

Why is it correct to set the foundation with loose translucent powder, I do it with a high coverage pressed powder, am I doing something wrong?

Nope! If you prefer pressed powder to set your foundation, keep it up! What David and Jeffrey are talking about here is using loose powder to catch eyeshadow fallout. With this particular hack, the loose powder works better since you can build a thicker layer up and it'll sweep off easier.

NOOOOOOoooooooo!!! Do not mix primer with foundation. If you must, Mix your primer with your moisturizer. But do not mix it with your foundation. foundation goes through a setting stage, which could be compromised if primer is added to it.

David, what’s with all the winking? It’s kinda creepy. It’s very distracting as well.

Whoever is handling your social media is not doing a good job. When people have plenty of time on hands, maybe we can get some good skincare regimes but what are we gonna do with quick makeup tips when it’s all work from home and nothing else to do!! This is so inappropriate, such bad timing.
