Hi po. I started my NNAS applications already. But i have a big problem sa PRC, they don’t want to fill up and sign my NNAS form. They’re looking for my Philippine passport, it was expired last March 2022. I didn’t renew it coz i became a Canadian citizen in 2018. They want me to apply for a dual citizenship,but unfortunately it will takes 1year and 6 months for that. And NNAS time frame is just a year. I don’t know what to do right now. I just don’t know if other Canadian citizens or US citizens have problem like mine. It’s frustrating lang kase I graduated and had my board exams there,pero they dont want to help me. It’s depressing, ang mahal pa mandin ng bayad and not refundable yun. 😢. Thanks! Hopefully,you can give me an advise .salamat!

Hi! It will depend which province you will apply. For example, here in BC they are allowing other agencies aside from NNAS to process their education credentials. Also there's no need for practice/experience verification. Maybe your province regulatory board has other ways to be registered. Also consider how long ago was that practice and if it is still relevant. In BC, they will be covering NNAS fees paid after May 2021 so maybe there is an equivalent agreement in your province.

I would like to ask what about theECA , is it need the course by course copy and what if i dont have experience and employer in last 5yrs ?

Hi ma’am, even mga IDs ay kailangan ng written statement that the notary public has seen the originals, made the copies, and certifies that they are true copies of original documents, or yung mga documents lang like marriage cert, birth cert as proof na nagpalit ka ng name or status. Thank you!

Hello! I cannot remember exactly or if they make changes to the recent forms, but I don't remember having a black page in the form/I'm not really sure what you mean by vacant form? But to be sure before sending it to your school or employer, you can email NNAS check if they have sent the correct form to prevent redoing it. Hope this helps!

Hi! I have a few questions. Do i need a valid Phil. Rn license to as part of the requirement in NNAS? Mine was expired 10yrs ago after moving to Canada and just re-acquired dual citizenship. Next, can i still renew my Philippine RN license in eventhough i'm currently working a LPN in Canada?

Hi! Based on the application handbook, it is not required but highly encouraged specially if you have experience there. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Philippine Licensing. Hi! Was it a walk-in transaction for you in the PRC? It was what I did and I was told to have an online appointment first then they instructed me to read Resolution No. 1225 for Former Filipino Professionals-- no more specific steps added. Tapos umalis nalang ako without asking any more questions kasi lutang ako nun. Haha! So transaction for stateboard verification kaya ang safest transaction ang pipiliin ko kaya for the online appointment? thank you!

Hi! I remembered I processed that as a walk-in transaction but that was in 2021. Rules may have changed but yes it was a state board verification procedure. Hope it helps!

Hi! Ask lang po, for the nursing license verification, is that only for prc? What if you acquired other nursing license from gulf countries?

I think okay naman pero double check with NNAS and if consistent yung mga forms bago mo ipasign sa PRC etc.

Maam, i am currently working here in saudi arabia for 7 years, mas advantage po ba if mag take ng nclex and ielts bago mag register online sa NNAS since good for 12 months lang siya.

Depends po sa province na gusto niyo applyan. Some provinces would accept prior NCLEX but some do not po.

Incase asa Canada na po. Would they accept e-signatures po sa mga forms na ibibigay sa third parties or should it really be an inked one? thanks!

I was reviewing my forms and I think I just used e-signature for it. You can use adobe reader for that. Hope this helps!

hello, please a few questions here; 1. I just arrived in Canada as an Int Stud and I want to notarize my documentation, can I do that here or do I need to do those back in my home county ? If so, how is it possible since I ll have to sign and also be there in person 2. Where does the signature or notary stamp of the official go? On the copy of the ID documents or on the statement declaring the documents are true copies 3. Do the copies of the ID and the letter/statement go on the same paper (front and back) or they go on different papers? Thank u, hope to get a swift response soon

It is easier to do it here then mail it directly to NNAS in Philadelphia. Usually the notarizing office or lawyer would know but you can show them the NNAS instructions so that they can help you.

Other requirements needed PRC po yung magsasabi, then sa job po yung form lang yung kailangan ipadala. hope it helps!

I am almost finish with my RN registration, nsa payment part na po ako I would like to add LPN din po sana. Hi! Unfortunately, I have a different dashboard since I do not have an open application. Maybe it would be after you pay for the main application (RN) but but you can message them in the contact form.

Hi! If you wanted to be assessed for LPN it should be before paying the assessment fee

For the employer, just the forms. Then NNAS will review these documents and notify you if further information is required.

As long as the notarizing body/lawyer etc. can provide all the requirements below based on the nnas handbook. "Outside of Canada, notarized copies must be prepared by an official who has the legal authority to certify true copies of identity documents. A notarized copy must include the following: • The signature and seal of the notary public, along with their address and phone number, in case NNAS has to contact them. • The date the copy was notarized. • A written statement that the notary public has seen the originals, made the copies, and certifies that they are true copies of original documents." I think you need to upload it but you also need to send the notarized copy of the id's thru mail. Please message them in case the instructions were recently changed. Hope this helps!
