Choose Az we lived in Scottsdale for years and now were in the DFW🤦🏾♀️I miss Az but my husband got a job opportunity in 2017 so we moved our oldest graduated from high school in Scottsdale also. The DFW is okay but growing up in Philly this is not the South I remember and I don’t like it
Welcome to Arizona! My family has been here since before Arizona was a state and I don't plan on moving soon. It's a great state for families and there is so much to do. As long as you drive respectfully you will have no quarrels with the locals.

Yeah, no lie, the tremendous heat is very hard on a vehicle. Your battery won't last as long as the heat is hard on any rubber parts (tires, hoses, belts, windshield wipers), and paint.

Your timing definitely aligns with mine as I also moved here three years ago from Southern California. I'm glad that a fence is required for houses with a pool. Also, for #3 (car maintenance), I can't recommend how important it is to park your car inside a garage if you have one as opposed to using that space for storage.
Whoops! My husband and I are moving to Arizona in July (from Guam) 😂 We’re used to 89-95 degree humid heat all year round from the tropical islands but haven’t experienced 100+ degree dry heat yet. Wish us luck!
Livin in Yuma, it was around 115 to 117 degrees almost every day, and don't forget Monsoon Season...
My husband and I want to retire to AZ. But we're trying to figure out some logistics. He retires in another year. I retire in 4 years. We want to keep our home here in CA and rent it to traveling medical professionals. In AZ, we want to buy multifamily and live in one unit. Looking forward to the change. I just need to figure out how to do it.

I’m planning on moving to the Phoenix area after my son graduates from high school next year. I am thinking of renting just because I’ll probably be making the move alone and don’t want the responsibility of a home.

Thats stupid. The hottest time could provide more opportunities for one looking to settle. Why come when its “convenient” which most lemmings or followers like to do🤷🏿♂️
