    6... they are responsible for 70% of dog related fatalities. #7... they kill more children then every other breed of dog COMBINED. #8... they were selectively breed to have a low tolerance, which means they can attack without warning or provocation. #9... they attack their own owners or family members more often than any other breed of dog. #10...they are genetically predisposed towards aggression, due to decades of bad breeding. Labs love water, retrievers love to fetch, greyhounds love to run, Jack Russell Terriers love to dig, Blood hounds love to track, German Pointers love to chase birds and rabbits, and pitbulls love to attack and kill... it's in their DNA, it's what we bred them to do! If you deny that you are either ignorant or delusional.

  • @coilyreflections

    @coilyreflections

    @The True Patriot It's all about how you train them, not the breed. I've raised pitbulls and bullies and never had an attack on me nor anyone else. You're delusional if you believe statistics, then turn around and contradict yourself by stating breed of dogs who have been known to kill as well. All mammals (animals and humans) kill, all made for survival. Please come back to reality.

    Total bed hogs, and if you've fucked up and spoiled them, they have to be touching you at all times in the middle of the night. Mine likes resting his face on my face and then snores. Or he lays across my torso as if to protect me from the monster under the bed. 😤

    We had a 7 month old pit show up in our yard. She looked, and acted like she had been mistreated. We took her in, took her to the vet, and everything seemed fine. Let me tell you, she was the absolute sweetest dog I have ever seen in my life (and I have had some super sweet dogs). Anyway, she would carry her toy around like it was her binky or favorite blanky, like a little kid would. She had the cutest little sweet sounding bark. She was the most loving and affectionate sweetheart. I cannot express how sweet this dog was. We had her for 3 months. She suddenly developed some strange symptoms. She started walking funny. I had planned on taking her to the vet after the weekend to get it checked out. Before that could happen she then got to where she could not walk or stand. I immediately had my roommate and my daughter take her an hour away to the emergency animal hospital. They did blood tests, and other tests. The blood test came back that she had almost NO white blood cells. This indicated severe infection of some kind or some kind of leukemia ( I did research and showed the results to her regular vet). The ER vets said it was an ear infection and sent her home. She only got worse. Within 24 hours she couldn't hold up her head, she couldn't track with her eyes, and she had seizures. While this was going on my husband was admitted to the hospital with MSRA. So now I was wondering if she might have that in her brain somehow or something. I did not want to leave her side.I knew she didn't have long. I hand fed her and gave her water. I tried to give her all the love and attention I could to try to get her better. My husband wanted me to come see him in the hospital. I had to make a choice. I chose to go to the hospital. While there I get the call from my roommate that Star had died. My heart broke into a billion pieces. Though we only had her a few months, I miss her and loved her like we had her for years. She left a huge imprint on my heart, and will always live on there. Here is a pic of Star. We called her that because she had one blue and one yellow eye. It reminded us of the sun and moon. So we called her Star. imgur.com/oYNWftq

    I know how you feel.😢 We had two American Bully's one male named Bully and a female named Remi. We took both of them as older dogs from people who could no longer care for them. Bully unfortunately was older than we were told! We had him for a year and a half and he became instantly part of our family. He died over the end of this passed summer, August 29th to be exact. He passed of Congenital 💔Failure which is common in his breed of dog. He died in mine and my husbands arms with Remi, our other dog sitting with us. I to had planned on taking him to the Vet the next day in fact, because his panting was becoming nonstop! What tripped me was Remi the female was in heat at the time so we thought he's trying to get in on her! But that night even in the AC he was still panting while not on Remi! It was very late so we decided to take him in the next day! He unfortunately didn't make it!😢 We now have him in a Cherrywood Box that has his name engraved on a gold plaque with his picture on the front of the box.. it really is like loosing a member of your family..

    They've done many studies about how they react to peoples emotions so correctly and caringly, then 99% of all breeds out there. Just think about how if you're not feeling so hot, your bully will cuddle up next to you, never leave your side, nice and calm, no bouncing or trying to play. Then when your doing great and are wanting to they want to play be excited . While around children they get gentle (besides there whip tails). I would never own another breed! I just wish people would think before owning one. First off there stigmatized so it can be super hard to find housing while trying to relocate. They don't stay tiny, THEY ARE POWER HOUSES (so if not properly trained. and PROPERLY socialized). They can get out of hand quickly! So I wish people would think more about owning one... The humane society's are beyond majorly bully breeds. And there's an even bigger stigma about a rescue pit. People think that you have to get them as puppies for them to be loyal and trusted. IT'S NOT TRUE. I've got a 2yr old bait dog rescue. She was found wandering with punctures all over her, her tongue it split from her having her mouth taped shut, malnurshed and just in rough state.. She's so amazing! And it was a fight witht the hubby about getting a rescue but now she fits in so well with my 3 kids and him like she's been here all along. Before meeting me he would never of owned a bully 15 years later he also would get a different breed ever either!!

    I’ve had mine for two months. I didn’t realize I was adopting a pit because he was listed as a Vizsla mix. (I believe he’s a red nose pit.) I chose him because he instantly lit up my world. I am his fourth family in two years. He’s family now, and my son loves him too. I couldn’t imagine life without Ro in it, so it’s a good thing he only two years old. He’s learning so much, and is starting to trust people more and more. He’s better around dogs already as well. Still working in cats. He goes with me everywhere. We haven’t been apart since the day I brought him home because he melts down if he can’t see me. I think he’s still afraid of losing another family. Oh, we live on a boat, and Ro jumps on and off like a champ. He goes through playgroup equipment like an agility competitor. Such entertainment.

She loved meeting new kids and she loved to meet new people! she changed Views of closed minded people constantly when they saw how gently caring and loving she was.. My favorite thing was how she would walk up to 2 yr olds and bow her head to let them pet her... once they touched her head she would lick them chin to forehead! I always told parents she licked to taste them before she eats them :OP .... Nana got leukemia and I lost her a yr ago. now she really is an angel.

    My babies name is buster, and he lives up to his name. He is a true buster. 5 things you should know about pit bulls 1) There pansies 2) There happy no matter what happens to them, they keep on wagging there tail 3) They have tones of energy to burn out with hours of play time 4) Warning....You will be licked.....A lot.....:))))) 5) A pit bull is family for life. For those out there who demonize the breed...which in actuality, your demonizing a bunch of breeds, considering there is no pit bull breed. The term pit bull is a term used by dog fighters when they breed dogs to fight. My dog was a abused before i got him, was beaten. And he has showed me love from the day i saw him with open paws. What most people do not know is that over 95% of dogs bread to fight will not, and end up being bait dogs, or killed, or worse....like my baby...left for dead. For those that say the "pit bull" is a terrible animal. Let me treat you how they get treated and let me see how you feel afterwards. i bet you will not have any amount of trust or love in you at all. But they will. I have had 3 rescue's in my life, all pit bull type dogs. All the same stories pretty much, and each one acted like nothing ever happened at all. Pit bulls are better then people. Animals i think are in general.

    I use to think that all Pitt Bulls were mentally deranged, & that they would eventually attack its Owner. NOT true. Bruno the 8th, arrived to me @ a time in my life where I was completely depressed. My Fiancée died. One early morning, @ 0300hrs or so, I hear a cry @ my front gate. I thought it was a human cry, a small child perhaps. I then discovered a 6 month old dog, who was used as a "Target" dog. I didn't have Heart to have him euthanized. In the 3 yrs he's been with me, he's been the BEST dog I've ever owned. He's extremely smart, obedient; & also, my Son! He doesn't know he's a Pitt. He's just a great dog. Loves my Grandson to death. Last Summer, my Son & grandson are walking their dinner off by going on a nature walk. This Havalina comes from nowhere, full speed @ my 5 yr old GS. Bruno charges him, they literally collided, & when Bruno was done with that Havalina, Bruno bit him in half! That how the story was told to me. Now, when My Bruno wants to eat, he eats. He now has free access to any places of my Home. Sofa/Bed, whatever. He eats like a Dinosaur. I would never get rid of him. Bruno the 9th will also be a Gray Nose Pitt Bull.

    +Sarah Gelb Those things are fucking barbaric, and no dog owner who has the slightest understanding of dogs or their behavior would use one. It DOES hurt them, and any choke collar cuts off their air supply (hence the name). If you think they're so comfortable, put one on your neck and let someone yank you around by it.

  • @sarahgelb1887

    @sarahgelb1887

    +Melanie S first of all you don't need to be fucking rude I was trying to help you out. And don't talk about my understanding of dogs because I have been raising breeding and helping in shelters since I was a kid so I bet I know more about animals than you do. Secondly I love my dog more than myself and have even tested the collar on myself before I bought it so obviously you don't know what you're talking about. The collar gives a short slight pinch when the dog pulls which trains them not to pull. Professional dog trainers use them too just so you know. Lol good luck taking any other advice from people who know what they're talking about because obviously you're not very good at it. Have a nice day.

  • @melrose92783

    @melrose92783

    +Sarah Gelb - Just what the world needs - another brainless breeder who makes money by whoring out dogs while thousands are killed in shelters every day. You clearly have no reason to be so braggadocious - lots of people have had animals since they were kids, but that doesn't make them experts. Just because SOME professional trainers use pronged collars doesn't make it right. No sensible trainer worth his or her salt would use them. This is why smart, compassionate, and progressive people do not subscribe to Cesar Milan's antiquated training methods. Those of us who have had animals all their lives AND have gone to school for psychology might know more about dog behavior than the likes of you. Positive reinforcement is a far more effective training technique than positive punishment, which is what those horrendous barbed collars are.

    This completely describes my pitbull mix😂😂 he is EXTREMELY clingy, as in he uses me as a seat/bed constantly. He has the cutest head tilt that he uses everytime he hears a strange noise (I often start humming really high pitched just because his head tilts are so cute😂). Also, his farts are absolutely fatal. Whenever I hear that familiar little "poot", I immediately get up and go to the other side of the room because I know I'm not going to survive staying near that gas. At first I thought it was his food, but I changed it a few weeks ago and nothing has changed😂

    Scifi Girl They were I think back in the 80s or 70s. In the movie the little rascals the dog was a pitbull, a president of the US had a pitbull (I forgot who I think Roosevelt) and the lady Hellen Keller the one who was death and blind had a pitbull too. They have been in movies and famous/important people had them but people are too quick to judge and only rely on the news to understand the breed they never look up the truth for themselves. Pitbulls are great dogs but since they are energetic, strong willing to please and determined dogs they can be a little overwhelming to some people who can't keep up and because of this some people take advantage of them and use them to fight and that's how they became the most misunderstood dog. There isn't a bad dog just bad owners of course some dogs need more training and discipline then others especially if they are a hunting, herding, or working dog. Dogs don't know their own strength especially big dogs so you have to train them to be gentle.

    Scifi Girl when staffies in the UK were used for dog fighting in the 1800's all the family would go including the young children , after the fight the dog would be carried home in the pram with the baby as it was so tired or injured from the fight that's one of the reasons the nanny story was born because they were so soft and gentle with kids despite their fighting skills.

    I got bit by a pit bull too. except I was young and not paying attention when the owner explained that they had both become aggressive the summer before. when teenagers threw bottle rockets at them. I almost lost my finger. even after I was a proud owner of an American rednose pit bull(RIP TESSA). a German Rottweiler(RIP ALLY). a mixed terrier pit bull. and a blue nosed pit bull. all females and great dogs. I currently own a rednosed black lab mix.

    I'm glad to see videos like these because it shows that theyre really not bad dogs. The problem isnt the animal, its the humans who caused people to be afraid of them. Any dog can attack someone or another animal if it was abused at some point in its life. My pitbull was attacked BY A GOLDEN RETRIEVER for christs sake. He still likes other dogs and my daughter can lay on top of him and he just wags his tail. I was bit by a shepherd and by kid was attacked by a lab and a loose pitbull and different occasions (she wasnt badly hurt) I think it just goes to show it's not the dogs fault. Its a shame how so many people are quick to believe that all pitbulls are viscous but cant accept that a "family dog" can bite someone. I love pits

    I had a pit, given to me by a good friend. I named him Mahai, a prince of war. He was everything as noted here. He grew to 70 pounds, yet everyone said he was way over 100. He walked so gentle on the leash, never turned down a pet from any stranger and would never turn down a ride with me, with the top down he would just wiggle with joy! He got slow and seemed to struggle getting onto the bed and I heard him whine in his sleep. Went to the vet and was told he had cancer. He had to be put down. I hated that dog for leaving me so soon, only thirteen years and some months. I still have a hole in my heart. Best dog friend in the world.

She is 65 lbs of pure muscle and I am 130 lbs of not enough muscle 😂 she loves her ropes so much how do you not risk losing and arm! My male is so gentle he just lightly chews on it so she grows bored with him very quickly!!

    I was talking to y friend Nina who has a pit named Winston yesterday. Such a cool dog. He's like an old soul. Last week I was getting the mail and she was taking him out for a pee so they walked by really fast. He got 10 feet past me, turned and saw me, and had to come back and brush my leg before lunging off to pee. Like he was saying "Hey Ron, I gotta pee but I just wanted to say hi, we'll talk later."
