We visited Big Sur yrs ago when I was 15 and instantly fell in love with its majestic beauty. Thank you guys for taking me back to the sweetest spots Big Sur has to offer! But nothing can match actually being there and smelling the sea air, hearing the unmatchable sounds of the sea and its wildlife so present around you, and seeing it all from its nearby tall redwoods to its ocean's powerful presence. There's honestly nothing quite like it anywhere on the planet! Again, many thanks!!!

@@CrosbyGraceTravels BTW, we have been in big sur 6-7 times and have never seen blue sky like this. Mostly foggy. Often we cant even see half of the bixby bridge. You got really lucky

Big Sure and Pfeiffer state park and beach are very easy to access comparing to Yosemite or Taho lake, I very much liked to travel where

I’m doing a 15 day campervan trip from my home in the bay all the way to Zion and GC and back. Maybe Yosemite if it isn’t crowded I’m planning 3 days for Big Sur. It’s the most similar place to Hawaii that I know of here. Great video!! You seem very excited 😊 👍🏽

Indeed, very few gas stations there and the ones that you are able to find, gas prices are abusively high. I went to Big Sur two years ago coming from downtown L.A., and what saved me from getting stranded was my hybrid Rav4's long range (560 miles full tank / 40mpg). I was not aware of this 11 mile passage you mentioned. I will have to give it a try again. Big Sur is a must go for all Californians!

I am really like the coloring of your video

I've been living in California my whole life and never once heard about this place until I started looking at pinterest a few months ago for places that I wanted to visit in 2024. I was scrolling through and saw this place and decided to look into Big Sur and was very interested so now it's on my list of places I want to visit this year. No one I know has ever been to this place so I'm hoping to inspire them by going there first lol. I'm not sure when to make my visit but I definitely plan to visit sometime this year though. The view is just stunning and breathtaking.

8:27 gas stop at River Inn Motel..... Walk behind motel...a few feet to the river there are multiple wooden chairs and seats IN the river which is wading depth. ABSOLUTELY IDYLLIC. You can grab a lunch, walk in the river to a chair and eat..kids frolicking and with buckets and shovels. It's WONDERFUL. July 2022

It’s been on my bucket list also, finally going in August. I’ll have 10 days along the coast, so definitely spending 2 days in Big Sur.

@@J-ZIM I didn’t make it, I spent the 10 days in Utah visiting the 5 national parks and the Grand Canyon. Which was epic, as I got to climb angel’s landing. Planning on California in the spring, thanks for asking.

Native Californian and avid SCUBA diver of the Big Sur coast. It's my favorite spot on earth! Just a little thing, but San Simeon isn't pronounced "Sim-ee-OHN" it's "Sim-ee-un." Also, I saw a lot of drone shots. It's illegal to fly drones over the ocean along the entire Big Sur coast. It's protected from aircraft and drones to protect the wildlife, specifically from flushing birds from their nests that are along the cliffs along the coastline. May not seem like a huge deal, but it really is ecologically.

Those dears were probably like who the hell are these people stalking us lol. Sorry about the gas prices....welcome to California. $6 is steep though. Haven't seen it that high here in the Bay Area. We hate all the taxes we get hit with living here. That waterfall at 10:03 was pretty cool. Great footage all around!

Drone flying over the Marine Sanctuary is illegal.... she is breaking the law in this video...

You were brave to take that road with all of the trails that are not maintained and are closed half way in. I BET you had the whirlies doing it 😅

You should do one about SANTA CRUZ and places around 🍻

I was at that beach probably 4 times and I traveled from russia, hope I can see it again

Don't go in Summer. Early Spring is not crowded, best weather, and prettiest because its all lush and green.

U should go to Hawaii ❤

Surprised gas was that cheap actually. The one spot I stopped when driving that area of the PCH was $9/gal…..in 2019. To be fair it was at a restaurant on the coast that caught all of its food daily. Sometimes the price is worth the experience.

Just did this trip. Highley recommend doing the PCH in the Febreuary/ March / April Months. There is Very Little traffic. Dont have to make any reservations at hotels or places to eat. Summer time is stupid busy with traffic / people congestion.

Lets get real. You need to go back there and do another show.

Old Coast Road is beautiful. I recommend never taking it on a motorcycle. I prayed so hard that we come out alive. Are you serious - you went there without having a full tank of gas. If you don't get gas in Big Sur Village, it's a long way to another gas station. :-) Hurry back. So much to see and do and always different in different light.

Watch out for them collapsing roads…….
