    I lost to an eighty year old granny who uses long pips on BH and regular on FH. 3-0 with two sets under five points for me. To rub salt into my wound, old granny said to me, " Dear sonny, with all the coaching you have spent on, how come you could still loose to me, and with under five points somemore?"

    I know "some" people like myself who kinda like to play against long pips especially with those that only use pips because they are bad and need it to compensate as those usually are the easiest opponents. Of course someone who knows to play with it and can also attack is kinda hard to beat but at least you can train to hit the topspin against those.

    @@tt4life74 But without a goddamn bat, you wouldn't be able to play at all. Did you ever try to receive balls with your fist? Anything can be "goddamn", which you aren't enough skilled to handle, it is never the bat, it is the player. Next time ban the sponge users or ban CPEN handle players?

  • @tt4life74

    @tt4life74

    Жыл бұрын

    @@adamszabo2139 of course, And you are partially right, but 95% of amateur pips players don‘t have any technique. They just stand there, hold up their bat, and win. It‘s just a punch in the face to all inverted rubber players, who train everyday, just to get the technique right. Often they just have not enough time to train against pips AND focus on technique at the same time. It just feels like, the more effort you are putting into it, the less you get out of it. You can‘t even warm up with most pimple players, because a proper forehand or backhand drive is out of their skillset. It just sucks, that these players still win

    With the advice after a match, it depends on the skill difference for me- like if they are clearly way better than me, I'll happily take the advice, but if the match was close, and the skill level is not so different, that's when it's annoying haha

    @@TTDJoe ooooh yes, I'd love a part two. I was playing a league match one night and the sports hall we were in, a small area of the floor was slippery for some reason and it just happened to be on my court. I remember I slipped over once and landed on my hip. 😅 We had to switch courts just to finish our game, but that minor hip injury I had from slipping ended up costing me the game. Other venues I've gone to that has a bad floor, you'd get a small wet towel to damp your shoes on, but then you trip over because of too much grip your shoes have to the floor.

    I can feel the dread of #1, losing a rubber prematurely. I just slapped the top of a black 729 Focus III Snipe sheet, and that already hurt me inside. I am the #2 kind of player, I need to put away balls midgame because of this, but I have the Timo Boll headband, so at least the curtain does not fall into my eyes too early 😅- btw, that sad face on that rubber drawn with sweat... 😆. I am truly pissed by the #3 kind of player (e.g. harimoto). I am also on the path to the dark side (using pimple out rubbers), but that will take many time to develop for myself - well played Tom 🤣(#4). And I also get how having to listen to an essay after losing a match can make a player mad (#5). I am glad, that you could have the channel recovered 🎉
